    83 steering box?

I believe I have found a steering box and shaft slip joint to fix my steering on my 83 ram w150. I just need to know everything I'll definitely need to completely fix my steering box and the thing that connects the steering rod to the steering box which I believe is a shaft slip joint. What all...

    83 W150 Problem

Well, my dad filled my truck up full of gas and drove it for a few days. He told me it runs fine. I did put some sea foam in it before I noticed it driving not so well, so I think I didn't have enough gas in it to mix in with the sea foam. Therefore, it wasn't running correctly. I drove it...

    83 W150 Problem

I have a 1983 Dodge Ram W150, and I've been having a problem lately. This is going to be hard to explain, but I'll try my best. The problem is that when I get going from being stationary it somewhat acts like it wants to quit for 1 or 2 seconds. I suppose it does this just about every time. For...

    New Dual Exhaust (video)

A few of my friends are telling me that depending on what muffler I get, a muffler can make it louder.

    New Dual Exhaust (video)

I thought there's mufflers out there that make it louder. I'm not running a muffler at the moment.

    New Dual Exhaust (video)

I recently got dual exhaust on my 1983 Dodge Ram W150. It has a 318 motor in it. The set-up is as follows: catalytic converter, Y exit, & 4" tips. It's not as loud as I wanted it to be, so I might take the catalytic converter out, and add a straight pipe, or add a muffler to it. I'm open to any...

    Need help with gauges

My gas hand on my 83 isn't all that great either. It works, but it's very sensitive, but oh well it's an older truck what can you expect. It also sometimes missreads it by a bit, I think, but hopefully you get it fixed.

    Tires

I did find a good deal on a 3" body lift, but 3" doesn't make a big enough difference for me. I don't know if I'd just have to buy extra leaf springs and or blocks or if I'd have to buy more to get it to a 4" or 6" lift.

    Tires

Yeah, but I don't know what all to get to be honest. I just know blocks for the rear and leaf springs for the front, but I also don't know how much of each and everything else.

    Tires

Well, the 4" lift I'm looking at is a suspension lift with Front: Lifted leaf springs, polyurethane bushings, steering block & hardware. Rear: Lift blocks, u-bolts, & hardware. I haven't even been able to find a 4" body lift. Unless I just put more & more leaf springs.

    Tires

All right, I appreciate everyone's help. 31x10x50 seems like a good size. Also, the website where I'll be buying the 4" lift says they recommend 35x12.50. I'm just saying, but I know I wont be able to fit those without a lift, so I guess it doesn't matter. I hope it doesn't look wimpy once I put...

I got the measurements. I don't know if I did it correctly. Not turned front: 4" between front to tire, 4 1/2" rear to tire, 7 1/2" top to top of tire. (This is from outside fender to the tire) Turned: 2 1/2" from front fender to the backside of the wheel. The back: 6" from fender to front &...
