Just got home from getting a coolant flush in my truck at midas and they said that there was a bunch if junk in the system with a tad bit of oil in the coolant after the flush,but truck doesn't over heat and the heat blows nice and hot...no white smoke or froth on the dip stick...what could the...
yeah,merc said he don't think it's a bad head gasket because it's not overheating..the temp gauge stays right at quarter mark...i am just going to get it flushed out with new coolant...should be good to go after that.
i am taking it into the mechanic next week.i would do it myself,but it's to cold here to be running the hose through...water will freeze and crack the block...my buddy on fb told me that the truck may have over heated once before and or the radiator is dirty and needs to be cleaned out.
well it's to cold here to do all of that..but i will go do that and post pics for you..what if it is oil????that mean head gasket going?no white smoke or froth on the dipstick
