Lowered 2nd Gen Pics - Show Em Off!

I haven't been on here in a while. I was looking up 2nd gen. Rams and was reminded of this forum. Here's a couple more pictures of my 1998 SS/T. I have owned it since new and it has around 64k miles. I am going to tackle the plenum gasket issue soon. I have the aluminum intake plate and all...

Lowered 2nd Gen Pics - Show Em Off!

I forgot about this forum until I was Googling lowered Dodge trucks. Here is mine after swapping the 2" coils for 3 inchers. I got it all aligned. I'm pretty happy with it.

    1998 Dodge Ram SS/T Photoshoot

I purchased a new photo printer/scanner today and thought I would scan some old photos of the truck. These are from a month after I bought it. I forgot the wheels were that shiny. Notice the roll pan. I think the next two were taken the day I bought it. Dealer emblem still on the tailgate.

    First post here, pics

Nice! I like the simple wheel choice. Classic looks are the best.

    1998 Dodge Ram SS/T Photoshoot

Thanks guys. I am going to try to hit the cruise-in with it soon. I'm hoping folks will appreciate it. I sold my dually today and the couple that bought it saw the SS/T. Their jaws dropped when I told them it was a 1998 model.

    1998 Dodge Ram SS/T Photoshoot

Well, I purchased the truck new with the intent on hot rodding it. I was going to lower it and build up the engine. Well, other projects took priority and it took me nearly 12 years to lower it. I've been thinking about building up another 5.9/automatic combo and storing the originals. I...

    1998 Dodge Ram SS/T Photoshoot

Thanks for the comment. I still love the truck even after 12 years of ownership. The only engine available in the SS/T package was the 5.9. I don't understand why anybody would change the wheels on an SS/T. I really like the factory wheels. The only thing I've done to the truck is lower it...

    1998 Dodge Ram SS/T Photoshoot

I finally cleaned up the SS/T last night and today. Of course, it was only dusty. ;) I decided to take it out for a photoshoot this afternoon. I'm no professional photographer, so this is the best I can do. I used my Sony HDR-SR-11 Handycam for this. It doesn't do too bad for a cam corder...

    Clay bar: didn't expect this...

Maybe I need to do mine again. The first time I did it, I wasn't too impressed. Maybe I didn't do it enough.

    Post Your Ram Pipe Dream.

My wildest dream is to swap a heavily modded, but stock looking Viper V-10/6 speed into my 1998 Ram SS/T. The rest of the truck would look stock. I love a sleeper.

I forgot about the Magnaflow cat. My stock cat was making odd sounds, so I replaced it with a Magnaflow since it was cheaper than stock and flowed way better. Also, the truck is sitting on jackstands waiting on a pair of Belltech 3" coils since I'm not happy with the stance with the 2" coils.

Thanks for the compliments. I've worked hard to keep my truck looking nice. I don't even haul anything. A guy PM'd me on another forum telling me about it. They are under the 2nd picture. ;) Not many considering how long I've had the truck. I'd like to build a stroker and store...

Lowered 2nd Gen Pics - Show Em Off!

Nice truck! If you ever want to get rid of the SS/T wheels, let me know. :) Here's my lowered 2nd gen.

I thought I would give this place a try. My name is Kevin and I live about 55 miles SW of Nashville, TN. Here is my 1998 Ram SS/T: I bought it brand new. A K&N air filter, Magnaflow exhaust, and Belltech coils, leafs, and shocks are the only mods. Here is my 1997 Ram 3500: The only mods...
