    DavidRam's 1st Audio Build... EVER! :)

Hey Tom, if you are ever in the South Bay area, I can give you a little crash coarse on REW... At least show you the basics to get you started... In the beginning, I had a very hard time reading through the REW "how-to" threads and my eyes (and brain) would glaze over, too. LMK

Thank you! Yes, the foam is moisture proof... There is a notable difference between the Fiio and an mp3 player, IF you are listening to hi-res files that the player is capable of playing (mp3 vs. 24 bit). It also plays mp3s, but I have been building a FLAC library of albums purchased on...

Hey, thanks a lot Craig... Btw, it's a Fiio x3 hi-res player... ;) I owe it to you for constantly encouraging me to learn to tune myself and use REW. Now I enjoy it! The digital audio player is my current "go-to" for source... On this car, the factory HU is intact and fully functional for...

I hear ya... It took a long time to force myself to learn to tune and using REW has been invaluable to me. The auto tune feature makes tuning soooo much faster and easier! Now I really enjoy it! I'll hook my battery up to the float charger and spend hours tuning and listening, in the evenings!

Thank you!! GB on the tweeters, GS on the midbass... I've got them level matched, T/A set, some basic EQ with REW, and it sounds great. There's a certain 3 dimensional-ness to the sound that I haven't had in my previous installs.

Engine Cover and Engine Bay Dress Up

On mine I did trim a little arc into the side next to the hood prop, as it might hit. Though mine was closer because of the BT hood prop cover, and I was concerned about scratching it...

    Wax As You Dry

I use Eagle One's wax as you dry after almost every wash with great results. Recently, Amazon had a deal where they were $1.97 shipped, I think I bought 8 or 10 of them. Lol But for a much better spray wax use Optimum Car Wax (spray).
