Same code has been there. P0871. Lost OD. Then to mechanic. He replaced the valve body. Relearned the trans. Drove fine for 1 week. Kicked same code. Lost OD. It reset itself after sitting for 12 hours while I was at work. Drove home. No issues. Mechanic couldn't find any issues...- kjg26

The valve body assy has been replaced, twice now. The problem is intermittent and seems to be no rhyme or reason as to when it decides to toss the code. This time I was accelerating from a stop light without any load on the truck.- kjg26

I've posted about this issue before but it is still unresolved. I have code p0871. 2016 ram 2500 with 68RE transmission. The valve body has been replaced twice now with the solenoid pack and everything else. Internal the transmission looks spotless. I'm told it could now be a PCM or wiring...- kjg26

16 ram 68rfe fluid and filter change

Less heat on driver side
For those of you following this. I back flushed the heater core with hose water. Didnt use any chemicals. Hooked everything back up and I'm sweating now. Pass sude is up to 149 and driver side is 140 with ambient temp of 50. That's on the dash. MUCH MUCH BETTER. Guess either some... -

Less heat on driver side
Put of the blue I began having less heat on the driver side than the passenger side. At idle and with the blower on low I have out 125 degrees to the pass side vents and 110 to the driver. At high blower speed the driver side drops to 90s. I've checked the blend doors and the 3 actuators... -

AC/HEAT issues
Would a bad heater core cause my pass side AC to work halfway? I could understand hear but can't figure how it would affect the AC. -

I'm almost positive those work. They do adjust the temps. It's just not balanced side to side. I find it unusual that the driver get cold but not hot and the passenger hot but not cold. Which doors would that indicate are not working appropriately -

Giant puddle of coolant under my truck. Pulled the radiator cap and found an empty radiator. Poured distilled water into the system and saw water flowing from under the water pump.
