    timing chain cover

    I had to replace my water pump and found a non used section of the water pump corroded. when I cleaned it out there was a pin hole in the timing cover. it looks like the hole is from corrosion on the water pump side, not from something rubbing on the inside. any thoughts on this? leave it...

    that was always my rule to but with the price of new cars and trucks I am trying to up it to 12 to 15 years. my 02 tarsus runs and drives great but with all the rust it scares me to think what would happen if I get in a wreck.
