PTO-How can I tell if truck has it?
The PTO attachment will be on the transfer case. I'm not sure how they look but I would imagine it comes off of the rear tailshaft housing.- MagSport

NP231D and NP241D swap 2001 ram 1500
As long as it's a manual shift 241 the sensors should still be good. I would make sure that the case has a spot for the vacuum switch. You could probably swap the front flanges from between the cases, but I don't understand how the u joints should matter too much, if the flange on the 241 is the...- MagSport

5.2, gears or tuner?
Gears are the best "bolt on" performance you can do for these trucks. I went from 3.55s to 4.56s on 33s and it's a different vehicle. That being said, it's a ***** to do yourself. On the transfer case behind the transmission, on top between the body and the case, there is a connector with 4 vacuum lines attached to the back. That is supposed be attached to a vacuum switch between the front driveshaft and transmission towards the top of the transfer case. There is only one...- MagSport

The issue I had was that when I wiped the blue away, the picture on the front went away as well. The tint is what defines the image on the front, otherwise it's just a clear circle. It's not like the gauges.- MagSport

Look at your power lock fuse in the dash. If the CTM goes dead, the wipers will quit functioning.- MagSport

V10 crank and cam trigger wheel details?
You may be better off just using some established EDIS system. I wouldn't think the v10 crank wheel is going to match up to the v8 very well. The only issue with going either of these routes are that you have to install a separate ignition control module, or have it custom tuned. Which I'm not...- MagSport

I know this is a little late, but there isn't a way to get rid of the tint on the climate control. I used three 2" halos and positioned them behind each knob to kind of overpower the tint. No timing range in intermittent wipers
Look at the connectors for the ctm and check your fuses. My timing function quit working one time after my ctm blew my power locks fuse, which is also used as a safety for the module.- MagSport

Good info here brother, thanks. I didn't realize our light systems were positive ground. It might explain why my relay systems haven't been working to keep the low beams on with the highs.- MagSport
