To find out if the injectors aren't firing couldn't you pull the injectors out real quick pour a little bit of gas down the injector holes put them back in and see if it runs? It would be like pouring gas down a carb'd engine.
You guys think he should put ATF +4 in a manual tranny? That doesn't sound right that's autmatic tranny fluid. I'll check my Haynes manual fo ryou and tell you what the recommend fluid is. I would service you front end. Check tie rod ends ball joints etc. Greeze anything and everything that has...
Could be a bad cluster. There is a way to test your cluster I forget how it's done. I think it's if you have the digital trip odometer you hold that in tilll it says something then it will run a test on the gauges that you can see.
Everybody around here likes superchips tuners. For exhaust if your searching for quiet with a nice rumble at idle and cruise but screams when you floor it then flowmaster 40's series is just the ticket for you. I ran those on my 94 and man did I love them.
Can someone photoshop a picture of my ram for me? I've got an idea in the way I wanna go with my ram. So I was wondering if someone can give me an idea of what it would look like.
I want it all white except where the rocker molding is I want it gone and black the rockers. Then a cowl hood...
I'm betting its the bypass hose. It's located at the top of the water pump and it goes in to the intake manifold it's about 3 or 4 inch long rubber hose. But you have to take a lot of crap off to get to it.
Lol smoke isn't a down side to me. But I think we are leaning towards an edge juice with attiude we've found a couple for 829 so if we go that way the CAI will be on hold. Now does any of the vendors on here sell it and if the do do we get a discount?
I wouldn't have any problem making an intake I've done it on my old Ford and the ram I drive now but I would have to convence my dad because it's his truck. So it sounds like everybody is leaning towards smarty and edge. Anybody run bullydog or Hypertech?
Alright boys I got a good one for you. My dad has a 2006 2500 quad cab longbed bighorn edition with about 58,000 miles on it. He's wanting a tuner for it for better mileage and performace. Mileage is our main goal but we also realize the more effiecant and less harder the engine has to work the...
The easiest way to check for a blown head gasket is very simple. Pull your oil dipstick and check for a foamy milky white on it. Also if it was blown head gasket you would know. It would over heat a lot of smoke and run like crap. You could have a bad intake gasket/timing cover gasket etc.
