So maybe a good route while I have the RL is mix a quart with the PUP and shelf the Lubegard until all the RL is used up? Then breakout the LG for the PUP changes way down the road.

No just want prevention. That was the PUP Lubegard route. I just happened upon the Redline deal. I wasn't going to mix the Redline/Lubegard, but with the extra liters of RL I will have for the 2nd change I was wondering if adding them to the PUP would have enough benefit that maybe adding some...

Not to sway off the current posts, but after alot of reading on here, and asking questions I went out last month and ordered up the new base for the truck. Ordered up a half dozen RP filters, a dozen bottles Lubegard, and got 3 5liter jugs of 5W30 PUP on sale for $41.99 each ($31.04 US). Well...

    Jax wax or adams?

For years I was a dyed in the wool Meguiar's fan, still am. But when the cold19 lockdowns hit it became hard for me to get the products that seemed to be in the US only. I started to expand and was hit with the reality of just how big the detail world is. And I grew... alot. There are soooo many...

I actually grabbed 3 5L jugs of PUP 5W30 today at CT. $41.99 CAD / jug. ($31.19 US). I had RL in my sights, but as Wild one said, hard to argue with the price of PUP on sale.

Well I guess I will order up some 20-820 filters then. I was looking at the K&N filters as well, but with the nut on the bottom being an extra piece on them, I will stay with going with RP ones.

I was at Canadian Tire just looking at the filters just to compare. Stock to RP 20-820 Fram equivalant. The stock size really is quite small, as has been mentioned many times over on this thread, and forum.

I may just keep it simple, forgo the Pacebrake kit and just clean up any oil change messes at each change. Less paranoia I guess.

If we get cold winter days/nights, I have always plugged my truck in at work. I always wanted to baby it on startups, but also baby me, I wanted the heat sooner down the road. :) But I do always make a habit of plugging in.

I was looking at the CT flyer this week and looking at the PUP too. And your out in West Canada, so get similar temps as here. I will scoot over and grab some jugs of 5W30 today. And order some Lubegard. Did you end up running a Pacbrake as well?? If so did you stay with the same filter...

So the 20-820 may not actually fit?? I was about to order a bunch of them from RP direct.

I will add, I was also just toying with the idea of Pacebrake filter relocation kit and Fumoto valve. But this was just cause I have been reading on the forum and makes me want to pamper the truck. Lol

So just looking for the best advise from the experts. Alot of reading here. But I have been like a ball bouncing back and forth with the choice I will make. So just looking for a basic combo to stop me in my place. 2014 1500 5.7 with about 68,000 miles (109,000kms). Royal Purple filter 20-820...

303® Touchless Sealant. Anyone Here Ever Use It?

Never tried it, but they make good stuff. Actually everyone has stepped up their game over the last few years. So many good products out there, hard to not reach for a product that works. Especially in a day and age where so many people see a car detail as taking their vehicle through the car...

    Detailing: Favorite Wheel/Tire Cleaner

I clean the rim with Megs Ultimate wheel cleaner, and clean the tire (rubber) with Gyeon Tire cleaner. Spray, scrub with tire brush, dwell, spray off. I sometimes follow with Dawn Power Wash to get the rubber so I know it's clean. Blow the tire dry and apply Jescar Tire and Trim to the rubber.

How Do You Clean Your Leather?

Alot of the leather products are decent, then it goes up from there. Off the shelf at most stores, Meguiar's leather products are nice, gentle. Sonax. Getting into more specialized products, Gyeon, Carpro. Colorlock is one of the best there is. As is Leatherique. I also like Polish Angel.

    Led Bar help

I have both the Diode Dynamics SS3 fogs and the SS6 light bars. Love them both! If you want a simple light bar choice that almost could look factory, go with the SS6 kit. They make it with brackets for both standard and sport style bumpers.

    Liquid Glass
