    Procharger install underway

IMO the noise is the best part of a procharger. Had a procharged 98 cobra and was cruising with a buddy that was in front of me, he said he couldn't even hear my motor over the blower haha

V8 hemi with the 8speed trans, what axle ratio?

This. '14 crew cab 5'7" with the 3.21 here. It still goes like hell, but I wish I would have known more at the time I got it, and gotten the 3.92. Most of my driving is city, so reducing the effort to get the big girl moving would probably help my mileage a lot. Still averaging about 16 with...

only one bolt per hook? interested in possibly throwing these on my express.

    2011 ram 30k service

I wouldn't do diff fluid until 45-50k personally unless you really beat on the truck. I'd do trans fluid at the same time if it's a 6spd. I'd also be looking at power steering and brake fluid around that same time to check if they need doing.

Crew cabs and 6.5' beds.........who's got em?

I have a crew with a 5'7" bed. The crew cab is an absolute must IMO. It makes the truck so much more versatile for carrying larger people and also larger things that you wouldn't want in the bed. Also essential IMO is a retractable cover of some kind. Whether fold up or roll up, you gotta...

Body color grille shell in a Big Horn ? Opinions?

Well yeah if you did painted bumpers too then sure, like the express and sport have. But going half way and only doing a painted grill, IMO, looks unfinished. Same way it would if i did a chrome grill on my express where everything but that grill is body color.

Body color grille shell in a Big Horn ? Opinions?

I think the painted grill shell ruins the balance of the front end. If you like it, that's all that matters. But I personally think it makes it look almost unfinished.

How much damage did I do?

rear door can probably be straightened, the front one looks a little too creased to try and pull but I guess it's possible. Definitely going to have to paint the front door which means they really should probably paint that entire side of the truck.

    you need Can-Bus LEDs.

New to the lot or sitting on the lot longer for the best price?

Too many variables, but typically on the lot longer is best. Heard Chevy advertising incentives on silverados "in stock the longest" lately? Depends heavily on the options though. If it's an unpopular trim level, because of a limited market (usually the bottom and top trim levels) you can...

    1500 Express Airide?

The ram website says you're a liar. witnessed it with my own two eyes.

    Supercharger?

If you're at the point of doing pistons you may as well do rods, and if you're doing both of those you may as well do the crank while you're in there.

    1500 Express Airide?

if you go to ramtrucks.com and do the 'build and price' feature you can see any options available for any trim level. 4 corner air suspension IS an option for the express.

    Supercharger?

In these engines, there are hypereutectic pistons and very tight tolerances. Earlier hemi's suffered from weak ring lands, nobody seems to be able to confirm whether this has been improved or not. Both of those things make it risky at best to boost without doing internals. Procharger's kit...

    2015 1500 wheels - stock. Plastic?

This is not anything new by a long shot...I saw this back in 2007 when I was working at a Ford dealership and they were doing chrome clads on the Escapes and Edges at the time.

    Fuel milage

2014 Express Crew Cab 4x4, Hemi/8spd, 3.21 gears. About 80% city driving, I hang around 16mpg most of the time. That drops to more like 14 when I have to use 4wd frequently.

trim levels...can't find thread, need info

So being the way I am, I'm nowhere near ready to get out of this lease yet but I've been bored at work and looking at the ramtrucks website. What has me curious are the lone star and big horn trim levels. Both seem to start at the same price per body style, but there must be something...

Brand new ram BLUE SMOKE !

Absolute BS. Mine has not burned a single drop of oil in the 8300 miles I've had it for since last May, between 100° summer heat and -10° wind chills.

Zf LSD is ticking me off...

Mine doesn't do that at all. Both rears turn 100% of the time.

Brand new ram BLUE SMOKE !

With lemon law, you have to actually give the dealer a chance to fix it before you can find recourse. Sounds like a few 'friday afternoon' engine builds happening. I can accept maybe loose or missing trim or slight paint defects, but engine internal work like that should never be necessary...

LSD installed. If you don't have it you're crazy.

the anti-spin in mine has made it to where I only need 4x4 in deeper snow. Steering is a little sketchy and the ass end is more likely to come out under throttle in 2wd, but actual straight line traction is awesome.

    RA1 to RA2 swap...difficulty? Parts needed?

Thanks, I hadn't really been considering aftermarket but good mid-high end double dins seem to have come down pretty significantly in price. Metra has a dash kit and there are OE integration harnesses that allow use of the factory satellite tuner so maybe that is the way to go after all. I was...

    RA1 to RA2 swap...difficulty? Parts needed?

I've been seeing a lot lately on people going from the RA1 or RA2 up to the RA3/RA4 8.4 radios. My truck's a lease, but I"m starting to weigh out the options of keeping it afterward and upgrading it to my liking, or turning it in and getting a higher trim. One of those things would be...

Whats the beef with the 44-44 t-case?

The lag between when the rear wheels slip and when the front wheels kick in. That coupled with traction control which really can't be disabled leads to lots of people getting stuck when they really shouldn't.
