I am back in a ram after getting rid of my 2015 big horn a few years ago. I just recently picked up 2020 Laramie sport and couldn't be more proud! I missed being in a Ram and I hope to be in this one for a long time. Will post plans in the future
I have never run the Fox personally. But I had bilsteins on mine. Truthfully the ride quality won’t be much different. The 5100 is a great shock for the price point. With the fox 2.0 you are paying for a rebuildable shock that comes completely assembled. If you step up from the 2.0s that’s a...
My local dealers have Laramie listed for 34-37k, the 37k being around 51k msrp. The big horns and laramies have the biggest rebates. You can probably step up to a big horn from the express for not much money and get much nicer features

If I remember correctly, he had a level, 3” body lift, 325/60s on factory 20s. He had wheel spacers too but can’t remember size. Probably 1.5”-2”

I think it’ll actually take less output speed to go a specific speed with taller tires. But it takes more effort to do so, which I feel the transmission takes care of

If you find a 17 on the lot it won’t be much cheaper than a 18.l, but the 17 will be worth less the moment you drive it off the lot. Right now is about as good as it will get on the 18s. Locally I’m seeing 18 crew cab 4x4 Laramie for 34-38k. About 14k off msrp

The lift ratio isn’t 1:1. You would be lowering the strut 2”, but due to where the lca pivots, and where the strut mounts to it, will give you more lift than 2”

I went from a consistent 18 to a little over 13. On a 2015 crew cab 4x4 with the Hemi. Bilsteins at 2.8 with 35x12.50 on stock wheels.
It actually depends on your driving whether or not you’ll loose mpg from a level. If your mainly a city commuter you won’t see much change. If you drive a lot...
I lost mine. Discount tire refused to cut them, they didn’t want to damage wheel. Dealership took them off and replaced with normal lugs.

Agreed. I have heard horror stories of the dpf getting clogged from to much idling. Not a cheap fix, and something warranty probably won't cover.

Actually I own a 2017 corolla that I drive back and forth to work. I work for Toyota and see it everyday. I know hundreds of people that own tundras and tacomas. So I'd say I have plenty of experience and first person stories to go on

I have owned a 2000 Silverado, same as the 02, and a 07 silverado. And I know several owners of 3rd gens so I have something to compare to. The 4th gens are a different story, but I would never buy a 3rd gen.

You own a 4Runner. Not a jap truck. Let's compare the 4Runner to something in its class next time. Also the 3rd gen ram is arguably one of worst quality trucks made in the past 20 years. So there's not much to stand on there.

If you even consider wanting a longhorn then get exactly that. You'd miss those features if you didn't get them and wind up getting a new truck. That's how it always goes

Anything related to tires or wheels I won't go anywhere other than discount tire. Customer service is top notch and they take care of you
