Saweeeet!
Now do the quads or duals have better light output??
I have quads but thinking of buying a set of duals, painting black and getting the oracles for it! But keeping 8000K HID for bulb.
Question!!
Painting the housings n such black.. Do you lose light output? I have quad headlights and wanna paint them or buy a dual headlight setup and paint em.
But will i lose HiD output?.
Debadged my ram this afternoon then started to rain before i could polish and wax..
Notices after it rained you can still see the "RAM 1500"..
Will polishing and waxing get rid of this?
Yah thats what i figured the stock exhaust would be fine with a muff swap but i dnno.
Im looking into the mbrp installer series or a mufflex 18.
Still undeceisive as all hell
Cool heywood!

Heated debate! My mind is boggled lol!
As of what i read.. Im more just after the sound benefit. A lil more growl to her so you hear exhaust not engine.
Im not racing this truck its just all for personal preference and to make some heada turn rolling down the road.
So comin down to a...
Hmm thats a good read Heywood.
Currently im running the performance tune witb 91 octane with the BD Hemi Plus and MDS is disabled.
Sitting in garage is my S&B intake ready to be put in
Other than that im just running basically a lifted stock truck lol.
Im going for just a better sounding...
Hey all.
Been a few months since ive done a mod and just itching to get some new stuff on the RAM.
Currently sitting stock with the 3" in / 2.5 Duals out.
I have an S&B sitting in the garage waiting for an exhaust mod but cant decide.
Is there any big benefits from doing a full cat...
I use the mount that comes with it only because its easier to take out when i have l go into the dealer.
Maybe after warrantys up id go with the pillar mount!
I installed the 5" coils in the rear and 2.1 bilsteins and have about 1.25" of rake still. May crank it up maxed to get rid of that but with the rake i have, pulling my trailer is next near level. And i all depends on the rake in your set up. Seems to be every tuck is a bit different though.
So i've ran the Bullydog 40430 in my hemi for about 3 months now.
I have no complaints on this tuner what so ever. But here to see if anybody has issues in the long run with BD.
Im just running the Regular tune with 89 octane
1. The power increase is defiantly noticeable from a start at...
Same issue here. When she starts up she sounds like a lawn mower for about a minute. After that its all good. Searched every forum about it and went to the dealer and told them what it was.
Just picked it up from the dealer and they had found 12 broken bolts on the exhaust manifolds on...
Hmm,
Im thinkin either run a bigger tire or buy a new set of rims, 18x10 or even a 18x9 with more offset? Im only running -12.
Not sure what to do! Maybe take em off and sell em? :(
And how are the 2500 ones holding up to rocks and all now? I drive on and fown alot of lease roads so i kind of need the protection in a sense.
Was thinking of a 37 and just end up with some gatorback offset mudflaps but, thought id run the bushwackers first?
May be a dumb question, but is...
Hey all!
Installed the bushwackers today!
BUT now that they are on and all, i noticed the truck doesnt have the aggressive loook with the tires sticking out! :(
Anybody heard or seen about the Smittybilt M1 flares? They say they have 1" coverage instead of 2" like bushwackers doo...
Yah you bet.
Could be something simple but also could be the set-up. Ive had hids on all my vehicles and by far this one is the most finicky for an install.
Like i said. Start at your battery connection -> fuses -> connectors -> grounds..
Could come down to a capacitor or resistor needing...
