    Tonneau options...

    undercover makes several covers that are alot lighter than fiberglass. 2 people can easily lift it off the truck if need be. they are water tight. they are pricey but you can find used ones for half the price of new.

    i usually just use eagle ones wax as you dry. spray it on a wet truck and dry it off. it eliminates water spots. for a step further ill use meguires ultimate quik wax. i guess anything would work as long as the temps are above freezing.

    i got infinity speakers through out my reg cab. the doors have 6.5 inch components and i mounted the tweeters for those in the sail panel. i also have the pioneer touch screen. I'm runnin the pioneer compact 4 channel amp also. I'm by no means a sound expert but i like my set up.

    3m body trim adhesive worked on my wifes escape.

    Intro and question about OEM Splash Guards...

    if your talking about that slit it lets the water drain out. I have the same ones and the slit is there. if you install these use 3m tape between the truck and the guard as they will rub the paint off if you don't.

    Upgrading dash speakers - what's the difference?

    I have the infinity speakers in my dash . when I first put them in I had the stock non amped radio. they sounded good however I put in a pioneer head unit and they got a bit better. I since added a small compact amp and they are pretty amazing now.

    I have the Kelly edge A/T ......its quiet on the highway wearing well so far.(11000 miles) and they ran about 150 bucks for the 265/70/17 size on my truck . good wet road traction. they don't spin from a stop like my sra's did. they are made by goodyear
