    What power steering gear box for 88 ram?

    Have you tried rebuilding your old one first? Parts stores sell a kit to rebuild if for around 20 bucks. I've had two old dodges that I've had to rebuild.

    1993 D150 Starting Problem

    I had a 81 ramcharger 318 that had that problem. A wire running from the start solenoid burnt up. Take a screw driver and jump the two prongs on the solenoid and see if it starts. I had to install a push button start to start it from then on.

    whats the difference

    the 100 customs were the base models... the lowest of the totem pole. You would usually find them with manual trannys and slant six's. Although you could find some like mine that had been special ordered with a 318 and a 727tf.

    727 Transmission Help!

    My 84 727 shift shaft seal has gone bad and apparently companies just don't sell them. If anyone knows where I can get one, or maybe a technical name for it (because I may just be searching for the wrong thing), I'd appreciate the assistance.

    Voltage regulator is fairly new. I'll check the wires though. Usually pretty cheap?

    Starting issue?

    check your timing. you could have a worn chain. that would cause your bog when you stepped on the gas. The slack in the chain would move the engine out of time under power.

    First post and couple of issues

    does the wiper motor turn when you hit the switch? those bushings that connect the wiper arms get old and stiff and will shatter. Pain in the rear to fix, but cheap.
