Regardless of whether it's the correct sub-forum or Armor All, I think what you did was very nice and thoughtful. If my son were to have done something like that I would be extremely grateful. Good work!
At 3:30 PM I would have just said that his objection is duly noted and ignored. Most places have noise ordinances, and if I'm not violating them then the neighbor has nothing to tell me worth telling.
Stopping power was another reason why I spent $200 to replace my pads on my 2500 with only 8,400 miles on it. The pads I switched to have a noticeable increase in stopping power.
My 2014 2500 drove me crazy so I just replaced the pads last weekend with some PFC carbon-metallic pads from O'Reilly Auto Parts. No squeal and much better braking. It was worth the $200.
I have a 2014 2500 with Cummins and a 7,000 lbs V-nose travel trailer. I get 12 Mpg towing it. I do run through DEF when towing it but that varies by how much I'm getting on it and hills.
That depends on the insurance riders. For instance, my insurance says engeged in a race, preparing for a race, or tuning for a race. None of those cover an open track event. :)
I know because I lost a car during an open track event.
I had red interior lights and red license plate lights on my 2013 BOSS 302. It was indeed a lot easier on the eyes when you flipped them on at night, and it matched the red paint of the car. :)
This is subjective to the painter and the color of paint. Assuming black then around $100. I base that off of when I bought a GT500 spoiler for my 2013 BOSS Mustang and wanted it painted flat back to match the other trim on the car. I took it to a chain store who did it for that much. They also...
The fact is people rarely use 4x4 during the life of the vehicle, (something like less than 3%): however, I've always felt that it's better to have it and not need it rather than need it and not have it.
To qualify my remarks I will first state that I was a policeman who was a RADAR instructor certified by the State of Missouri way too many moons ago. They work, but they can be defeated if the LEO really wants to. Higher end unit's minimize false signals from door openers and such. There's even...
I put a Rough Country leveling kit and Bilstein 5100 shocks on my 2014 2500 and I'm quite pleased with it. The shocks made a big difference and recommend that you do those as well.
I can relate to that. I helped my daughter move last saturday and tried to back up in the yard to her front door. It didn't take much to get the stock tires slipping, and the slope wasn't that bad at all.
If you're worried about fuel economy then why do you want more aggressive tires?
I traded in my 2013 Outdoorsman 1500 4x2 in for my 2014 2500 Big Horn 4x4 w/Cummins and get better fuel economy in both towing and DD use. I have not taken it on a decent trip on the Interstate to see what it...
