doubt there is one in the 2008. my 2011 didnt have it, but i cut the spot open and installed one and the door for it.. -
Tricks to reset radio/sound system
well crap. i had your exact same issue friday evening.. no sound, but all the buttons worked.. volume would go up and down. stations could be selected. and when i couldnt find which fuse was the one i needed to pull, i hit the button, and then the sound worked.. hopefully its an easy fix.- jojo750

Tricks to reset radio/sound system
i just had this issue tonight. googled the problem. and there were 2 solutions that people say had worked. without any reasoning.. 1. disconnect the battery or pull the fuse for the amplifier. 2. hit the button on the rear right side of the steering wheel. makes radio go from am/fm/sirius...- jojo750

Something is Draining my Battery
my 2011 ram was killing the battery.. one night, when i got out, i heard a humming noise.. fuel pump was still running.. turned out to be a faulty fuse box. luckily, extended warranty covered it. otherwise, it wouldve been $1100 to replace.. cant help you much but offer what killed my battery...- jojo750

i cant make this one up.. bought my daughter a 2006 subaru outback. and this was the cabin filter..AC started blowing nice and cold after i changed this out.. -
Truck telling me to change oil to often.....
on my 2011, when the tech resets the oil change light. it starts the 3500miles before it comes on again. it isnt based on the oil life. but mileage. -

No sir.. wasnt quite the happy ride it should be. 2 trips. 10+hours at dealership. for 1. a car wash and vehicle prep from purchase. 2. recalls that took less than an hour to complete once they started.- jojo750

i wont even begin my 2 latest horror stories for my local dealership.. #1. bought truck on a saturday, and it was storming bad.. so they didnt "prep" my vehicle completely.. still had stickers on back windows, etc.. told me to come back, and they would wash and prep. came in the following...- jojo750

Mcgaughys Part# 44055 lowering spring
old pics. this is just after i lowered it, but still had the sidesteps on for my daughters.. -
TIPM replaced
lucky isnt the word.. i had to replace the AC in my house, so i had refinanced the truck about 3 months before this happened.. otherwise, when i went to the dealer to get it fixed, and they said it would be about $1100, i would have said thank you. drove around to the front of the dealership...- jojo750

Mcgaughys Part# 44055 lowering spring
i used the mcgaughys kit to lower the front and rear of my 2011. had the spindles in the front , and 4" springs for the rear. its been 5 yrs and had no issues. probably different than the springs you want to use, but wanted to let you know that i did use the MCG kit. -
Vararam replacement filter
when they first were released (2011), you could only order the replacement filter directly from vararam. i did the same thing.. while i cleaned one, i used the other. dont know if matt has access to just the filter. contact vararam, and they definitely can help you.. and good luck trying to...- jojo750

Truck is shaking at 67-73 Mph
funny how i read this... i was coming back from florida, the week after xmas. got off interstate, as i slowed down, i got the wobble like you describe.. pull into gas station, check tire pressure, look and see that there are still weights on the tires, as i too thought i lost one. make it home... -
What did you do with your 4th Gen this week?
i think i got 200 for mine, but had a spare filter for it, and a cleaning/reoil kit. its definitely worth listing local... someone with a ram would probably scoop it up.- jojo750

thats why i sold mine local on craigslist.. couldnt find a box for mine as mine was one of the first ones vararam made, and they hand cut a big box to ship mine in..- jojo750
