Big difference between driving in a corn field and driving in the oilfield where locations are always muddy with big potholes and rock all around
They are probably a great drain valve for those driving on hwy but I would have a real hard time with one in an offroad application
I for one have been pulled over and ended up slightly overweight pulling my trailer and was forced to move all my stuff to the back of the trailer to make the weight work on the truck
I was only a few 100 pounds over but if they want to be picky they can
My bigger concern would be the...
Yes you just push the button without pushing brake pedal
Once goes to accessory and a second push goes to run without starting and then you will see it says diesel preheat in process and a timer . Then if needed a second time push button again for off and repeat process
The truck will not have an issue but keep in mind if you go over the trucks ratings you can still be denied insurance coverage in an accident and also if overweight at a scale you will still be fined. Not everywhere is checking but some are now
I read somewhere works out to around 2-3% of fuel consumption so yes more when towing
I have just added my second jug each being 9.46 liters (2.5 US gallons)
So I have added 5 gallons and I am full the truck has 11476km (7172.5 miles)
So mine has been 1434.5miles per gallon
Its odd you say that I have had 3 and none would break loose. I have had a 07 10 14
I like all except the 07 had issues with the 6.7 when it first came out but was still a good truck overall
But no chance any one of the 3 would break loose from dead stop without holding the brake pedal and...
Exactly seems people forget that there are new people here and that sometimes the search is useless or not effective. I thought the whole point of these forums was to help each other out politely.
I also had the same question and searched for answer and did not find. So bought truck without...
Yes the gas pedal thing is common but over all I love my 14 3500. My son has a 14 F350 and yes it does have a little faster throttle response but it is no quicker and is not better or worse in any noticeable way of driving. Overall I like my Dodge and have owned all 3 of the diesels in last few...
Pics of what
You dont believe I have 35's or of the trailer
It is and 8000 pound empty trailer and weighs about 10000 loaded with quad and water and gear.
Its winter here now so I have my winter tires on which are 34 inch.
But it pulls no problem with what I have and gets...
All I can say is my 14 with 35" tires pulls my trailer just as good or better than my 10 did and with much better throttle response and much better fuel economy.
Sure 3.73 would be nice but for me I am just as happy with the 3.42
I bet if you use google and look up how many people were...
I also have a 14 3500 with the the 3.42 gears and have absolutely no issue towing with it.
I would be more inclined to believe something wrong with your individual truck or maybe your excpectations
You are not going to hook that load behind truck and still do 14 sec quarter miles or 0-160 in 10.
If not 32.5 it wont work but I dont think you can find any other percentage and if under 32.5 the truck will throw codes. I have looked everywhere and cant find any with out that concentration anywhere
I would be very surprised to see any under 30 or for that matter anything other than 32.5
I am just under 5000 miles and at half
I expect 8-10000 with almost no towing on this one but if you tow it will be more
I think I have read somewhere to expect about 3 percent of fuel used so 1000 liters of fuel 3 liters DEF so depends on fuel economy and driving conditions as to how much...
I looked and just cant bring myself to use one for fear of it coming open
Then should make it with a plug that can be put in so can pull plug and then open valve to drain
Would be simple to make to use the drain plug that was removed from the oil pan to instal
I have a 14 with 7700Km on it and I have had no problem lots of town trips.
I did notice a very increase DEF useage as soon as I hook up trailer to it
But have never had any regen problems
