    80,000 kms Report

No protection from road debris with the power side steps. I finally removed the power steps and replaced them with wheel to wheel steps and the last set of flares are treated with 3M coating towards the front of the flaring.

    80,000 kms Report

Hi everybody, just thought I would report on my 19 Longhorn. Truck just turned 80,000kms and I had 2 new manifolds installed, rear right brake caliber, 2new front sway bar links, broken bolt ahead of muffler at join, needs new bolts and gasket and 3 rear sets of fender flares. I still love my...

    Air suspension

I had a 2017 Longhorn and got rid of it because of Air suspension. Frustration was just too over bearing. Dealer kept replacing components to no avail. I've concluded that the system isn't designed for the cold climate.

Which to pick - '22 fully loaded hemi vs diesel with air suspension, like the mpg but worried about air suspension problems

If you're looking for trouble free driving then stay away 4 corner air suspension. I had it in my 2017 Longhorn and it was a nightmare for me. Traded it in with 32000kms on it. I've commented on this in the 4th gens forum many times.

Do you like power deployable running boards?

Mine are sitting in the garage and I may re-install when I get rid of the truck. The environment here where I live is too harsh and the shit they put on the roads is like sand blasting material.

Update: I got rid of the message today, went into settings, saftey, side steps and checked "store" instead of Auto. Message gone

Do you like power deployable running boards?

I installed Husky mud flaps after first set of fender flares being replaced, and they hang low enough to protect but my truck is a crew with 6.4 bed and the 7 inches extra in length makes a difference. I've checked dealer lots and the Crew 5.7 bed trucks don't seem to be damaged like mine.

Do you like power deployable running boards?

Well once I had mine removed and wheel to wheel installed I get an error message on the Evic "power steps unavailable, please have service" something like that. Anybody have any idea how to get rid of this message? I bought it back to the dealer and was told not possible to get rid of message in...

Do you like power deployable running boards?

After 2.5 years and 3 sets of rear fender flares I changed mine to permanent steps. Zero protection from road debris and shit they put on winter roads here in NL. If I lived in southern US I would have them for sure.

Do you like power deployable running boards?

3rd set of rear fender flares installed today, truck is only 2.5 years. Just ordered wheel to wheel steps. My OEM power steps will be up for sale in a couple of weeks. I'll be in Ontario until end of January. Need rid of ASAP.

Do you like power deployable running boards?

This is why I don't like them. Love the concept but no protection. Getting new flares for the third time under warranty next week. A local guy is going to 3M them for me where the problem area is. FCA won't cover the tape, go figure.

Do you like power deployable running boards?

Hi guys & gals, been awhile since being on here. I have gone through 2 winters with my 2019 and deployable steps. No issues with the steps but zero protection for underside of truck. My rear fender flares have been repainted twice under warranty and the truck is going in on Monday to have them...
