    checked the dealer today, warranty ran out the end of march dug around under the seat a little today and figured out which plug is shorting at least so I have somewhere to start. definitely drivers side and its only one plug out of the bunch under there so I have a decent starting place I guess

    I did have a bit of a problem with the front clamp. I just hit it hard with a 1/2" breaker bar and tightened the hell out of it. Figured if I break the bolt then I'd have to replace the clamp anyway. Surprisingly it held up to some serious torque and no leaks.
