    2007 Ram 1500 Tail Light Ram covers scratched badly

    They look like they have been sand blasted. Streaks all over, but absolutely no paint scratching near them. Can I just remove them and go without them, or are they a single unit with the tail lights? It's odd to me, but both headlights have similar pitting/scratching on the tops of them as well.
