    Hurricane durability questions?

I had a 2018 Mini Cooper like that and never quite trusted the "electronic info" on oil level, but I never had a problem with it. Just old fashioned I guess and like the visual of seeing oil on a stick, lol.

    Hurricane durability questions?

No oil dipstick? What is the thinking behind this..........kind of like to know the amount of oil consumption and making sure level is proper. I really don't like sealed transmissions without dipsticks either. Makes filling to the correct level a bit tricky, at least in the Titan Jatco 9 speed.

    Should I order a 25

Unless you simply must have new bragging rights, why not give the Hurricane 6 a chance to prove (or disprove) itself? First year always presents a few more growing pains.

What to offer for a 2023

Inventory nationally is growing overall; with truck prices jumping 10-20% since Covid, people are tightening their wallets. There are discounts (vary by region) now, but as to whether 6 months will change the current situation, it’s a crap shoot. A truly spectacular “buy it now” price would be...

rotary shift knob flashes will not engage forward or reverse

3 years is a good run. Batteries used to just keep radio station memory when ignition was off. Now they power computers and can go dead if you don’t drive them every week or two.

    Heated Seats

My 2017 Laramie seats got quite toasty and pretty quickly too. Not sure why yours wouldn't do the same, but they should be felt.

    Pricing is out of control

For the first time in decades, I have turned to used as I refuse to support the ridiculous price hikes of new trucks-all brands for that matter. The new truck fairly priced is the Titan and that's probably because they are going away within the next year or two. I see that now RAM is offering...

Death of the V8 & birth of a.... Inline 6?

Don't know why they (FCA/Stellantis) have not continued to perfect and refine the hemi V8 over the years. We still have to deal with broken exhaust manifold bolts.

New truck, leaks & rattles, sprayed in the face with water driving down highway...

I hate to read stuff like this-you basically purchased a truck as expensive as a home and company won't stand behind it. Haven't seen your posts for a bit so I imagine you got rid of it. Not much else you can do at this point.

Sad first post. 2022 Laramie problems.

Wonder what happened with the OP and his case..........he probably dumped it and got something else. Wouldn't blame him.

My issues with the 2019 Ram 1500 - respectful concerns.

Get rid of it if you can........I agree with others here regarding buying a first year model of anything.

Key Fob Panic Button Too Sensitive

Done the same with mine.......remote in my pocket, and suddenly the campground is awakened by my over active key fob.

    Paint work issues

Hope you get this resolves. It's easy to miss a flaw in the buying excitement. Happened to me once before I learned that new cars can be partially repainted at the dealership w/o disclosing the damage.

Ram said no I am on my own with this.

Glad you are getting it resolved. Perhaps if it were better paint or applied and prepped better it wouldn't have chipped, as much. Rocks are going to ding it regardless, so this time get some clear protective covering that goes to the body line and you should be good. Flaps help reduce rock...

    Should I buy 2021 RAM?

    Congrats on the new truck!

    Finally arrived

That is a serious truck........worth the wait!

    Lost my Lifetime Warranty!

I've been reading this whole post pf packer96's entries and I am amazed at how far a large and wealthy company will sidestep and tap dance in order to void a signed contract, when they could have easily gotten far more than $3,000.00 worth of good will for simply doing the right thing.

Anyone have thoughts on a 2017 laramie vs a 2021 big horn?

I had a 2017 Laramie 4x4 for 25,000 miles and no issues......but that price of 37,500 is just too high. Closer to $35,000 would be more realistic.

Headed for a look and test drive

Congrats on the new RAM. Great looking vehicle. I miss mine sometimes.

    Ford is copying Ram

Ford definitely tried to soften their front end, but the rest of the truck is so brick like, I'm not sure it works.

Went and did it. New truck.

Congratulations on the new ride. Black looks great!

    Congrats.......good move.

You lucky $#@%$#ers... Hellcat-Powered Ram TRX inbound!

That’s going to be a fun truck, if they make it. But do I need it? No. Hemi 5.7 is plenty to do my chores. But maybe I’ll get me a test drive just for fun......

2017 Larry the Laramie is gone :(
