I had one washer stop working a a week ago. The tip of the washer nozzle had broken and the tip was still in the hose. i went and bought a new one. While getting the tip out of the end of the hose I was pulling on the hose and the the other side washer nozzle broke at the same place. Tried...
I added one. I looked into the factory bolts that screw into the floor. You would need to cut holes in the carpet for factory fit. I just shoved it in place without any bolts. I've had it for a couple of years. It has only moved around when when I vacuum and is easy to remove to clean. Catches a...
I have a set of aluminum ramps I have used on different trucks. The folding ramps are 10 ft long and arched. I have used them on my 3rd & 4th generation 1500 4X4s the 3rd gen was taller. I'm sure your 3500 will be taller but don't know how much. I also added a small 2500 lbs. ATV/Utility...
I have the Mopar molded. I think they maybe a little larger than other brands or at least longer. My tires are 9 inch tread with and I don't have any splash/dirt problems.
I have the DeeZee full tailgate cap because I drag things across the tailgate often. I did custom bending for the section with the "well" so it fit does fit down in it. I'm very happy wit it.
Hear is a picture of my 2011 ST with tan/gray and black factory vinyl seats. I purchased used and it was a fleet order originally and had the odd combo of the two tone vinyl seats and deluxe door panels.
I like the cubby above the glove box. I cut a thin rubber mat to fit the bottom to keep stuff from sliding around. Don't use it a lot myself. My wife fills it up with stuff of all sorts. She has to use the cubby because she always has the passenger door pocket full. During the winter we do a lot...
Looks like you need a transfer case rod and bushings. Type in dodge ram transfer case shift rodon Google. Then click on shopping. There is a kit with bushing for about 10 bucks including shipping. If you have the rod you can find the bushings at parts stores Dorman number 14078. I
I had a 3rd gen and now a 4th gen Ram, both with the 4.7. I normally pull around 5,000 lbs +. Biggest problem will be hills and head winds. Under those conditions I just shift to 4th gear.
OK, I think your barking up the wrong tree. I deal with the Code of the Federal Registry very frequently with regard to animal health issues and have been for the last 15 years. My most recent encounter was in person last Tuesday with the USDA office on Independence Avenue Washington D.C. The...
My 2011 1500 came with 275X70/17 original equipment. I'm currently running BFG ko''s. The specs are:
32.2 Diam.
10.9 section width
8.9 tread width
7.6 side wall
BFG shows rim with range 7-8.5"
I added Mopar accessory fog light kit to my 2011. Factory doesn't list them anymore but you can find them on E Bay and Amazon. Just type in 82211694AC on Google and they should show up. Pricing from $175. The nice thing is they come with the factory switch and once installed then "flashed" at...
Only on one car many years ago. It was a drag racing Camaro. I kept smashing the roller bearings in the u-joints. I painted the driveshaft gloss black with a silver stripe down it so I see if it started to twist any. I used engine enamel. No balance problems.
I tow about the same weight 5-6000 lbs. I have BFG KO's with 45 lbs. no balance problems. Yeah ride suffers some but that comes with the territory. As far a vague steering, Do you have a weight distributing hitch?
I used a Prodigy P2 in the left lower dash the same place the factory controller on earlier gen 4's was. Still doable on later model unless you have the 8 speed transmission. In that case that is were the emergency park gear release is housed.
I have to have an 8 ft bed. I hope and figure the regular cabs will be late along with the 2500's. Don't see how the 2500 & 3500 could do without a regular cab. There is bound to be more stuff coming on down the road. Split tailgate, bed ramps (which may explain the lower step on rear bumper)...
I have a 2011 with the 4.7 and pull a 16ft live stock trailer regularly. Loaded weight normally runs between 4,000-6,000 lbs. During head winds, hills and higher speeds I shift down to forth gear. Your's should do better with the hemi. I have a buddy that has a hemi and pulls two horses all the...
Spray all the hinges thoroughly WD-40 and use for a few days and spray again. This will get some of the corrosion flushed. Them spray with white lithium. Continue both for maintenance as needed.
And don't forget the door latches and striker.
This will work. There are better products out there...
Yes it can be done. I wired my aux rear lights on my 2011 through a rely and used the power feed wire to the cargo lamps to trigger the relay. On my 2011 the wire is white with tan tracer, not sure on newer models. I tapped into the main harness under the dash before it goes through the...
Everyone has their opinions but this effects the remote start also. Low fuel light on and no remote start. I don't have the fancy instrument cluster and If I fill up when the light comes on there are still 6-7 gallons in the tank. This is very irritating to me. If I drive it to where the fuel...
