2015 Silverado rear bumper on a 2nd Gen Ram

I like the look of the Silverado rear bumper on the second gen Rams. Anyone ever done this? Curious what mods have to be made to the brackets. From what I've read, it's supposedly "very simple". I asked the guy that posted the pic on Instagram, but no reply.

    Compass aways says "North"

Compass is stuck on North. All the other features work fine. Is this common and is there a fix?

    Check gauges light

Turns out it was low on oil....which is something new and a bit concerning. I could have swore there was a dedicated Oil Light that would have lit up for a low oil issue.

    Check gauges light

When I apply the brakes to say, stop at a red light, about 2 out of 5 times my "Check Gauges" light comes on. It dings a couple of times, then the light goes off. Nothing looks out of the ordinary as far as what the gauges are registering for oil pressure, battery voltage, etc. Any ideas? It...

How many miles to a tank you get?

Its the low fuel light, not the check engine light you are seeing. Nothing is wrong with the truck, at least, its not throwing any codes. And I drive it easy. Not sure what the heck is going on with it. By comparison, I seem to be getting much worse mileage than most, unfortunately.

Changed spark plugs, and all heck breaks loose.

Well, after replacing plugs, and wires and still having the issue, turns out the back side of distributor cap was cracked. Obviously, wasn't easy to see, but felt it when I rubbed the back side of the cap. Replaced it, and all is well. What a crazy couple of days. Geez. Its like Dodge said...

Changed spark plugs, and all heck breaks loose.

Yes, I pulled all wires one at a time, and I pulled them by the boot. Regardless, I just finished replacing the plug wires with new ones. Problem is probably 50% better, but definitely not back to normal. Im stumped I guess I'll take it to the shop.

Changed spark plugs, and all heck breaks loose.

Yeah, one at a time. Made sure not to mix up the wires.

Changed spark plugs, and all heck breaks loose.

My 1999 Ram 1500, with 5.9L and 51k miles was running just fine. It bought a new air filter for it, and while I was at the parts store, I thought I may as well get some spark plugs for it, seeing as the original spark plugs were still installed. Get home, pop in the air filter, and change the...

    Cheapest way to calibrate speedometer

Want to ask again, you mentioned printing the page from the FSM and handing it to them and say "do this". But, I dont see how to calibrate the speedometer due to tire size in the manual. Am I just overlooking it?

Went from factory 16" wheels to 20" wheels. Now speedometer is off. Reads about 6 mph slower than actually going. Whats the cheapest option to calibrate it? Also, does this mean my odometer is off as well?

Front splash guard / mud flap help

Since putting wider tires on my truck, they tend to sling water, mud, grime all over the side of my truck. I've been looking for a small, custom fit (not universal fit) guards for the front. Having a hard time finding any non universal fit for anything under a 2002. Any ideas where I can find...

Will Covering fog light hole cause over heating?

Im wanting to install LED light bars in the cutout in the bumper where my fog lights currently sit in the stock location. I havent seen a flush mount kit for this, so I am considering getting a sheet of thick black plastic, covering the entire opening from the back side, and mounting the led...

New wheels settled on and finally installed

Finally found and mounted the new wheels and tires. 20x9 with 275-55-20 tires. Very happy with the look. Wanted some SRT-10 wheels, but didnt feel like having the grease cap snout on the hub milled down so they'd fit (I have a 2wd). And then also having to modify the center cap somehow to stay...

    Wheel spacers

I bought a set of BORA spacer/adapters (hub centric) for my 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 2wd. They are 1.5" thick. I was going to put some wheels off of a 2014 ram on my truck, but I changed my mind. So, I have a new set of BORA spacers I'd love to sell. They have a 9/16" stud on them, and I also have...

    Bora wheel spacer/adapter

Before I officially post for sale, wanted to see if anyone would be interested in my 1 1/2" thick Bora wheel spacer/adapters? They have about 10 miles on them. Brand new. Just didnt like the wheels I bought, so I returned my wheels and ended up putting my factory wheels back on. So I dont need...
