Burnout Fail! GT500 Meets Ram in a Bad Way

I have a long history of telling folks not to stress over the little things in life,,, Like someone leaning against your truck, the first little scratch you get, etc etc,, But,,, I must confess,,,, You slam into my truck while I'm parked on the opposite side of the road,,, Slammed into me...

Can you adjust caster on our Rams?

No adjustment for Caster on later 4th Gens. Earlier 4th Gens have provisions for adjustment, but newer models require additional parts to enable adjustability.

    Rebel X at SEMA

IMHO, we are too close to the arrival of the 5th Gens to do anything SERIOUS at this time,,,

    Rebel X at SEMA

I also heard something about an ecoboost in the 2017 Raptor,,, except this particular one had 8 cylinders,,,, (I reckon the Coyote would howl real nice with double puffers,,,:))

    Remote oil filter

You can buy it as part of a complete 'deluxe' kit from Permacool. Here are the single filter kits: Oil Filter Relocation Systems M22 X 1.5 is the size you'll need. Deluxe kits retain use of the original filter. Standard kits, like most others, utilize a 3/4 - 16 thread filter (Some folks...

    Remote oil filter

I run Fumoto's (or sim) on both the wife's Edge and my Ram. They're not for everyone, but I sure like 'em!

    next gen ram

Absoruteree As you can to see, acceleration is the impressive and the biggest advantage is power. All of these features are incredible for one truck. So, all of us are expecting first video from the test drive. Artickle mush have Asian background,, Engrish not good!!! :roflsquared:

    next gen ram

The 2-way decal on the hood is sure a show-stopper,,, Ramcharger when viewed one way, and Fourwheeler when viewed another,, :naughty:

    Differential oil & additives

More often than not, "better' can only be determined through lab testing and even then, is only measurable at the very smallest of microscopic levels,,,, (Like pickin a fly spec out of a 100 lb bag of pepper) The irony is, without exception, most will trade/buy again long before any of it...

    Trading a 2010 Ridgeline for a 1500 sport

Probably one of the best Ridgeline descriptions I've heard. Actually, it's quite functional for a lot of folks, and was a consideration at one time, but: I do occasionally need a 6.5 bed. Didn't seem to have any advantages in MPG or power over a full sized truck.

    Not happy about recall

Mine already has. 'Take one side down at a time to inspect' is what I was told' Don't have to completely drop it to get in to inspect/add the foil 'patchs' to the bags. Mine survived this recall in fine shape.

    my first ding

The Wife has 'small ding and dent repair' {PDR} as part of a warranty package she purchased for her 14 Edge. it was a little over a week before someone 'dinged' her brand new Ford right on a door 'ridge'. (Pretty darn visible) The PDR guy came out and got her door 'back to new' for no charge...

    my first ding

Dings are a part of life. Once you've had several, they don't bother you near as much as the first one did. :)

Lone Star in blue streak,,,, We'd be twins!!! :)

    Slightly disappointing with my MPG

/\ /\ /\ Yep. Tons of variable involved.

    chevy backed into me!

Not sure of the exact position (accessible from underneath or not) But I've had 'fair' luck removing similar 'dings' from the rear bumper of my 09 RAM. I do have 'general metalworking skills' above and beyond 'Smack it with a BFH!' though! LOL! Chit happens. Charma, while not always...

Trouble deciding between Express and Big Horn, would love opinionsopinions.

Tons of good comments on both sides of the debate. ''Currently in the market for my first truck",,,, If you've never had a truck before,, eh,, well, all I can say is they are a very handy thing to have!! :) On one hand, if you never plan to use it for more than a 'little yard work' and...

    PCV System...School Me!

Engines with more blow-by can produce higher amounts of 'crudola/combustion by-products/vapors, etc' than engines with lesser amounts of blow -by. Some of these blow-by components are what's caught with a catch can. You get the most blow-by under hard acceleration (low vacuum - high cylinder...

    PCV System...School Me!

:) Yes, Ole Slowrollers cylinder pressures generally stay a lot lower than you younger guys!!! (It's part of getting old! LMAO!!!) Keep an eye on the can, but more importantly, keep an eye on the dipstick,,,, What 'looks like a lot' in the can is typically barely noticeable on the stick. If...

Even though I can't take advantage of this, HIGH FIVE for bringing this to the attention of those who might be able to!!!

    PCV System...School Me!

Tons of variables involved as to how much 'material' you will collect in the can. Amount of blow-by generated by the engine is one. Don't confuse the amount of flow through the PCV system with amount of blow-by produced by the engine,,, (So your Truck runs like a 'bat outta hell' eh? I can see...

15000 miles is pretty rare for a truck that rolled off the assembly line ~5~ yrs ago. Sounds like you need tires,,,
