Wish Dennis Dillion wasn't so far from me... They have new Cummins 2500 Crew Laramie for $47k
No local dealerships will come close to touching their prices.
The transfer case drives me nuts.. When I select 4wd lock, I want 4wd.. not this part time BS.
It was muddy at a job site the other day and I was trying to back up an incline. Front wheels kept engaging and disengaging as I was losing / gaining traction.. was annoying the hell out of me.
I'm thankful that I work right across the road from a family owned body shop. The owner himself walks around the car with the client and makes sure the work they did is satisfactory.
I was rear-ended recently and took it to them. Looks the same as when I drove it off the lot.
Hope you...
Sean has always responded quickly and clearly to my questions and always sends me his latest tunes upon request.
I don't see why you couldn't use your tune while towing, I do.
Wth is that? I cleaned as much of it off as I could... But I'm afraid this crap is floating around in my coolant.
I would have done a flush, but didn't have enough coolant as I was just planning the tstat change.
I have a 2013 that came with the standard copper plugs.
I know everyone says to stick with the copper plugs but I have no desire to change plugs every 30k. I went wtih Denso Iridium Plugs (SK16HR11) found them on ebay for $68 for all 16.
Truck is running like a champ.
Now that I have a decent size travel trailer, I've been browsing the 2500's at my local dealer
They have a 2500 Power Wagon which caught my attention but noticed it only had a payload listed for 1450 lb? That's only slightly better then my 1500...
Does that sound right?
I'm another lost PUP user... I'm getting close to my next oil change and PUP is no where to be found.
I'm thinking about trying amsoil. If you join their customer preferred program... you get 20% off all their products. Still more expensive but at least its a little more reasonable....
I literally towed the trailer like 2 miles down the road to my house from the dealership... I wasn't driving halfway across the country through the mountains or anything :p
I'm also over estimating the trailer weight... I'm pretty sure its closer to 4500lb and 450lb tongue weight...
I have a 2013 1500 and this past fall bought a Jayco 27' Travel Trailer as they were on clearance with the winter months approaching. I believe dry weight is around 6000lb, with a tongue weight of around 550lb.
Regardless, when I towed it home... my rear end was sagging pretty good...
I...
So I just got finished changing my sparkplugs. Wasn't to bad other then I had issues getting one of the connectors off one of the coil packs ( I soon realized I should have just pulled the coil pack out some to get more clearance before trying to undo the connector)
Anyhow... I managed to...
I have the LT version which have a little bit deeper tread.
Love them, they have been awesome in the snow.
Very aggressive looking without the noise... I don't think you can go wrong, especially for the price.
H1 Fluxbeam X's , 2013 Ram.. 5.0 uconnect. Knocks out my radio competely. Opt7 seemed to acknowledge this when I emailed them and just told me to send them back if I wasn't happy.
I have cheaper no name brand led's in my high beam that I think are brighter than my fluxbeam and they...
I just put on some Falken WildPeaks at3w and like them. Decently priced as well.
They are also severe snow rated which is nice since I live in Michigan.
I had lot of issues getting the adhesive residue off after pulling the badges. Goo-Gone hardly did anything.
Finally just dabbed a rag with some gasoline and it melted right off. Cleaned off any remaining gas and applied wax.
