Mine is a '14, had it back to the dealer several times. They pressure checked it and the works. Finally had it a week sent an alert into Chrysler and they told them to change all hoses. Only thing is they didn't have them and didn't know when they could get them. 11 weeks later I got a call they...
Somewhere about a year back in this thread there was a post with the recall # posted. I couldn't find it when I looked for It to show my service manager. I remember reading it.
As to my paperwork they didn't reference a recall # but they also did the track bar recall while it was in there and...
Hey guys been a while since I have been on here but thought I would tell you about a recent trip to the local Dodge service dept that was a little less than pleasant.
I have a '14 2500 6.4. The thing has smelled of antifreeze ever since I have had it. No leaks but smells very strong once you...
Yeah, my 275/70/18's are actually a little over 33" tall. I am probably going back with 295/65/18's. Most tire calculators give the height for my tire as 34" which it is a far cry from that. The 295/65's show to be 33.1 I am hoping I will be all good.
Your running this size tire on a stock setup truck? The reason I am asking is I will be buying tires soon and was going up to 285's had entertained the idea of 295's but was wondering about clearance issues. I also have 18's on my truck, it is a '14 model.
I have been pulling a 24' boat (around 6.5K) I have found just do away with the tow/haul and go the manual route and you will be much more happy on the steep hills and long grades.
Let me go ahead and give you a heads up on this so you don't wind up looking like a jerk like I did. When you get this done at your dealer and if they tell you that you will have to drive the truck 50-100 miles for the system to acquaint itself to the changes believe them.
I thought when they...
Mine was replaced at 19K. There is no comparison this engine to the other. In fact really no excuse for it getting out of the final assembly line originally.
This one is smooth as glass. It has 3K on it now.
Well I usually do and have done it in the past, but. I bought this truck from of all people a friend of mine who is an attorney. It was involved in the recall because of the wrist pins. He bought a new diesel while the engine was being replaced and I bought it from him. He has sued Chrysler...
Just thought I would post a rant about how inept some small town dealers can be. I took my '14 2500 6.4 in for a service and to get the TPMS adjusted.
First even with the instructions copied from here on how to adjust the TPMS I got laughed out of the place. NBD, I am only about 45 mins from...
Good luck. I suspect this will become a most interesting thread.
As many tuners out there for the other engines you have to wonder why it was so long before they actually came out with the few available for these 6.4 trucks.
Thanks, even someone as tec. stupid as me made it through that. If it hadn't of been for the heads up to go to the equip. listing I would have been dead in the water.
Hey guys I hate to be a PITA but someone posted a link very early in this thread to Dodge where you could give them your VIN and get your build sheet e-mailed to you. I had it saved but due to a 'puter crash I lost it.
I have looked high and low and now can't find it. Does anyone have it...
