The only difference I know of with the 2016 is that there's some sort of bracket on the driver's side (close to the front tire) where running boards mount.
Has anybody bought these? There's an option on multiple websites that say I can get the mud flaps for both front and rear designed to work with the factory fender flares, but on weathertech's website, front isn't shown.
Was hoping someone could chime in that the front ones on other websites...
Before pics I was thinking 22. After pics is say 26. You know deep down what you truly want for it. If I was in the market, I wouldn't wanna pay more than 25.
My 2016 1500 is doing the same thing, it just happens occasionally. I plan on taking it to the dealership within the next two weeks. Just sucks cus it only happens sporadically, so I doubt it'll happen for them.
RLK, the sound never gets worse, it's the same pop/thunk/knock every time it happens.
CVX, I will try. It'll be interesting if that's it since it only happens sporadically and during rain.
Update: it's been happening again the past few days. I would describe it more as a popping sound coming from the front driver side. I've only noticed it when it's raining, and almost always only when it's stopped and I'm initially accelerating. Any ideas? I'll be taking it to the dealer the week...
I would think that if that were the case, your battery would have died too.. Multiple Fuel pump failures makes me think something else is causing it to be over stressed. I don't know much about the system, but maybe the pump isn't getting good suction somewhere?
(12000 mi/yr)/(24.1 mi/gal diesel) * $2.30/gal = $1145/year on diesel.
(12000 mi/yr)/(16.1 mi/gal gas) * $1.85/gal = $1379/year on gas.
Diesel costs $4000 more. ($4000)/($234/yr) = 17 years before your fuel savings will pay for the extra cost of the diesel. This doesn't factor in the...
Update 2: driving today resulted in no knock so far. It would be my luck to take it to the dealership and nothing happen. I read that it is not uncommon in the first few hundred miles for the transmission controller to be in the calibration phase, which would lead to some jerky/less than smooth...
I just ran into this issue with mine. I installed the go rhino dominator boards. I cut the bracket that mounts to the driver side front and I used the threaded holes in conjunction with the bolts they gave me. Works fine.
