    Mostly stock, he did a KDP fix and the 5th gear retainer nut. Other than that it's untouched.

    Antifreeze / coolant should always be run in daily drivers. But straight water cools better, and is used in many race applications.

    No harm in running straight distilled water in a cooling system. Coolant simply allows for more efficient heat transfer.

    Okay, so the engine oil is good? Do an oil change and make sure you don't have any of that milkshake stuff in the pan. Checking the dipstick is NOT good enough. It is more than likely a bad trans cooler line inside your radiator. Now, everyone who is screaming about killing your trans...take...
