See those are the ones that confuse me the most and the ones I see the most of on instagram. I don't think all of those guys are spending big bucks to get everything done "right" but they obviously have them built well enough to get around because I see rolling shots and pics from their meets...
You know what confuses the hell out of me? So many on here have issues with drop kits i.e. not functioning properly, not getting enough drop, etc. But I look at all these RAMs on instagram all day that are fucking slammed so low your balls drag and none of those guys seem to have any problems...
From what I have read yes you can run the Deluxe kit on your 4WD. I believe that kit comes with everything you will need.
My Ground Force kit is at 2/3.75 right now and I have zero rubbing issues. Two things that might be a concern for you with the MCG deluxe kit:
A) the spindles push the...
Friend of mine has the Corsa single side exit system on his R/T and it sounds very nice. He is on here as forum member "AlwaysSomething" but I don't believe he has posted any vids of it yet. He is factory manifolds with the Corsa cat back only.
I had two different Corvettes with Corsa and...
Are the map lights incandescent or LED? Does it have that little LED courtesy light thing that shines down on your center console?
EDIT - I'm calling dibs on this pending a response to my question.
For now, no. Ultimately I will send this truck off for a full custom air suspension front and rear to lay frame tucking a set of big ol' billets.
I know if I cut more off the springs now I'm going to run into problems and end up spending more money so rather that do that I'm just going to...
Opened mine once, the rubber trim got rolled up when I closed it. Fished it out with a credit card and never used it again. I also hate the way it looks from the outside. One option I wish my truck didn't have.
This thread is old. I ended up going with the Ground Force springs and shocks and cut the rear springs a little bit to get more drop out back. I also went with 24s instead of 22s and run a 305/35r24 tire.
Ground Force has the best drop springs. If you look at them side by side with belltech and mcgaughys there is no comparison. If you want the look but you want some performance out of them then GF is the way to go. Sell your MCG on here and scoop some GF.
IMO my opinion you are going to spend way more time and have a much bigger hassle on your hands trying to just replace the lens. Get you a light off ebay or amazon and be done. Take it from somebody who has had experience removing and replacing lenses, it's a huge pain in the ass unless you have...
The Hellwigs should help, but it's strange you are having the issues to begin with. I wonder if you are on factory shocks still and they are just worn smooth out??? I'm 2/4 on 24s with stock sways and the Ground Force springs and shocks and my truck is very planted. I live in DFW TX and some of...
