    Brushed Metallic

I know a guy who did it. I called him an idiot, technically I was wrong. He used a gallon of rustloleum and a couple paint brushes. Looked like hot ass. Sent from my SM-A516V using Tapatalk

    Looking at 2002 5.9 360 4x4

Yes they did. My '03 1500 5.9 did anyway and it only had something like 80,000 miles on it. Sent from my SM-A205U using Tapatalk

    Looking at 2002 5.9 360 4x4

$8000 sounds very high with a respray and not crazy low miles. If mint original and low miles maybe. My 2003 Laramie 1500 with 80,000 miles got 10-11mpg and seemed way underpowered when I towed my 17' 3500# travel trailer. Sent from my SM-A205U using Tapatalk

    Inoperative horn after airbag recall

When I drop mine off to get airbag recall done, I plan on taking a video of the horn working when I drop it off. Sent from my SM-A205U using Tapatalk

    U joint replacement

Rockauto.com I just did mine on my '04 1500 2 weeks ago. Used an Advanced Auto ball joint/u-joint loaner tool set and it made it much easier than using a vice. Sent from my SM-A205U using Tapatalk

    Tires for 2003 SLT

I have nitto 420s and I like them. Did great this winter in snow and seem to have very good traction in rain and when dry. I believe they have a newer version of them out now. Sent from my SM-A205U using Tapatalk

    Recommendation on front winch

Look at line speeds also. Some cheaper winches are painfully slow. Maybe not bad but after you use or even see a faster winch, wow, it will seem stupid slow. Ideally you will never need it to get unstuck(not sure if that is why you are wanting one though). I have a warn 8274, never gonna fit...

    Coolant leak question.

These "clamps" are probably what caused the leak. The 1 piece was laying on the frame when I went to put hose clamps on. I will replace factory couplers when I get a chance, for now hopefully new clamps will fix the leak. Didn't have time to replace the couplers with brass pieces. 2 rear hose...

    Driveline "clunk" sound

So I am still trying to find out what is clunking. U-Joints have no play and do n oi t show any signs of rusty powder by the seal. With rear axle of the ground and truck in park, should the driveshaft have any rotational play in it? Mine has a small amount, maybe 1/16" or 1/8"? All rubber...

    Coolant leak question.

I saw that but probably one include the connector between the 2 hoses which looks to be the problem, the look deteriorated and that is where the leak is. Sent from my SM-A205U using Tapatalk

    Coolant leak question.

It sure is but the run of hose has 3 almost 90 degree bends in it. It doesn't do 90s very well Sent from my SM-A205U using Tapatalk

    Coolant leak question.

Its got some bends in it that I don't think a straight length of heater hose could handle. Sent from my SM-A205U using Tapatalk

    Coolant leak question.

So I figured out I can use a 5/8" barbs hose coupler(I think and hope). Would you use a brass one from Home Depot or this made in USA billet aluminum one from amazon? Sent from my SM-A205U using Tapatalk

    Coolant leak question.

That is factory, sleeve is only available with the front hose section which is both front hoses. What year is your truck with a 1 piece hose? Sent from my SM-A205U using Tapatalk

    Driveline "clunk" sound

And now it seems like the front brakes are on the wear indicator, outside pads have plenty of life left, (so did my wife's sebring a few months ago). Saturday will be a year since I bought it and only needed oil change and wipers, now 3 things in a week. And the front tires are wearing funny...

    Driveline "clunk" sound

2004 1500 4x4 5.7 with 85,000 miles. Truck is not lifted, has 305/45-22 tirea(wider about same diameter as stock). I have gotten under truck twice and U-Joints in rear shaft do not appear to have any play. When shifted into reverse or drive I hear a clunk. Got under and when shifted, the...

    Coolant leak question.

Found a small coolant leak yesterday. 2004 Ram 1500 5.7 with 85,0000. Picture shows the leaking spot. Not sure what the part is between the hoses. Is it just a piece of tube with 2 clamps? Could I just remove factory clamps and put "normal hose clamps there? Hoses go from water pump to...

Napa batteries are made by Deka, at least here in PA 1 hour from the Deka plant. Not sure if the same on the other side of the country. Sent from my SM-A205U using Tapatalk

    Looking at a 2004 2500, need feedback.

I would imagine you will not get very good MPG if you drive alot. I drive 17 miles to work, no highway and get in the 10 mpg with my 04 QC 1500 4x4 with 86,000 on it. Best I got was 14 on the highway. 3.92's, 305/45-22, K&N, cat back, old tuner from 2004. Sent from my SM-A205U using Tapatalk
