    Anyone actually use Maxcare?

MADDOG, I've seen you around the forum and know you mod pretty heavy, do they give you any hassle over your mods or do you switch back to stock before dealing with them? Glad you turned out OK from the wreck, but that new CTD looks sick!

    2011 Ram 5.7 Hemi SLT 4wd 220k miles - Buy Yes/No

Leather and sunroof on an SLT? Either way it sounds like a bad deal. Optioned as a Laramie on kbb it's only worth $9,000.

    5.7 w/Warranty or ED with 8/125

I had a 2016 5.7 with 3.92s, traded up to a 2016 6.4 with 3.73, and my wife has a 2017 Hemi with the 3.21. IMO, for towing the 3.92s are not an option. So much more umph when you need it and feels much peppier when not towing. However, I would strongly urge you to test drive a 6.4. I got mine...

    20 inch factory rims

5.75" according to this thread: http://www.ramforum.com/f40/guide_leveling_wheel_tire_sizing_06_4wd_ram_1500s-70918/ which is a great resource if you're undereducated in area.

    Problem Urgent Help!

I have no idea what a Fortin EVO ALL is, or what it does, but the first step in solving any electrical malfunction would be to disconnect the battery. Your best bet is going to be leave it disconnected overnight and see if a hard reset fixes anything. If that doesn't work someone else may have...

    stained new cloth seats

That's the stuff! I used it as directed and then shop vacced it. It may or may not have removed a whole cup of tobacco spit from my gray seats at 1200 miles :yucky:

    Just Complaining

I'd be happy if it'd just stay on when I turn the truck on and off! The parking sensors stay off even after you unplug the 7pin and recycle the truck.

    stained new cloth seats

Have you tried any sort of carpet cleaner such as hot shot (hot spot maybe?)? I've spilled all kinds of stuff on my seats and haven't found anything yet that carpet cleaner won't get out.

Get this, the wife said I can order a new 2018 1500 or a 2500, give me some pointers.

I have a 2016 2500 6.4 and my wife has a 2017 1500 2017. The 1500 is definitely a smoother ride (as would be expected) and sounds much meaner (even after Mufflex) but after driving a 3/4 ton I don't ever want to go back. I'd love a Cummins just for the C on the side of my truck, but it's a lot...

    4X4 Question

Normal. And it's not good to drive on dry pavement in 4 wheel drive unless the Outdoorsman has some sort of 4auto feature.

    2017 Laramie Crew Cab

Perfect, thanks! Definitely going to be ordering one in the next few weeks. Was hoping Amazon Prime day would have them on sale, but alas they did not. Definitely going to go with the Curt adapter, as my wiring/ electrical skills are minimal at best. Just gotta give Curt a call and make sure I...

    Looking at moving into a 1500 from a F-150.

After owning an 8 speed with both 3.92s and 3.21s they are night and day. Any savings you may get on MPGs are completely negated by the seeming lack of power in the 3.21s. You will severely regret buying a six speed, the eight speed is superior in every single way except for the silly shifter...

    Tailgate Rattle

First things first, do you have a hitch in? If so it's probably the slop of the hitch causing it to make a ruckus. I don't have a rear window, but when I first go my truck it took me longer than I can to admit to realize my hitch was bouncing and making noise and my truck wasn't falling apart.

    2017 Laramie Crew Cab

Awesome, thanks for the info! My line-x goes down where the bar will apply, and they bedlined over the ring, so I doubt I could get it off if I wanted to. I'm also thinking I might want to add additional adhesive being that I'm applying the light to a rougher surface.

    Been a while

That is a clean looking truck! My opinion is that you'll really take away from the clean look and draw eyes away from the whole package, but to be fair I've never seen white lettering on tires and thought it looked good. But that's just like, my opinion, man.

    New to 2500

Congrats on the new ride! I upgraded from a 2016 1500 to a 2016 2500 (6.4 Hemi) for the same reason. I was aggravated at first, but I like this truck much more so it's a win in my book. The only difference on the 1500 and 2500 that really comes to mind is the tire pressure. The trucks call for...

First time truck owner, your recommendation on maintenance intervals?

The general consensus around here is to just follow the owners manual. If you tow frequently or live in a dusty area you may consider shortening intervals, but that's covered in the owners manual as well. If your truck didn't come with an owners manual here's a link to one I found quickly on...

    2017 Laramie Crew Cab

Your truck looks great man! I've been looking at options for reverse lighting and that Opt7 looks light enough like and super clean. Anyway you can post a close up of how it works with the spare tire lowering hole? Watching your video looks like you went right over it, but I saw you said you...

    2018

I think the body matched side steps look great, but I don't see them holding up very well. My chrome ones don't look too great after 16 months and 23k miles. They aren't horrible, but they definitely have some blemishes that are going to show up much worse on paint...

    2TZ and 26Z Package?

Did some searching around. 26Z is the Big Horn Package. 2TZ is some sort of Customer Prefered Package that seems to be on a lot of Big Horn packages as well, but can't quite figure out what the difference is. Now I'm curious..

    Bought my first Ram

When I had my 2016 1500 w/ 3.92 gears I ran 89 for 5 tanks and then 87 for 5 tanks. I could not tell a noticeable difference in terms of performance, however I did get better mileage with 89 (2-3 mpg). However, with 89 being .15-.20 more than 87, by the time you averaged out the mpg to cost they...

    Tie down help

Is it any better if you pull the car forward 6 inches and use the wielded on bracket? If you're worried about it not being strong enough I used to haul skid steers and back hoes using those brackets all of the time. They're not going anywhere and it will keep the straps from slipping forward or...

Ya, I've been scouring CL for over 4 months. REEEEEALLY wanted the front single piece and hadn't seen it pop up until these. Almost settled on a set of Ram stock rubbers last month only to drive an hour and a half for the guy to tell me they weren't the ones in the pics but a brown set instead...
