Another lifter failure, not where I expected.
I'd say it's good to hope for that, lol. But that's because my train of thought is that since it's a 2012, I'm assuming she's got some high miles...I'd go ahead and replace all the lifters and the cam especially seeing all these lifters going bad and wearing out the cam causing misfires. If not the vararam, then S&B. I wish I would have gone with the S&B but for some reason I went with the k&n blackhawk and feel like it was a mistake. The instructions and hose they provide for you to modify the pcv hose is complete trash. The inner diameter of the hose a a fair bit smaller...- 2K10HemiRam

Yea, it caught my attention when they came out with it but at the time I already owned a red one and I'm more partial to red. Can't take it with me over there, Japan has strict import laws. Vehicles have to be 1970 or older for us to be able to take them. And owning a full size pickup would be a nightmare over there, lol.- 2K10HemiRam

If 2500's use the same radiator and efan then I don't see why it wouldn't work on one. I don't believe I've seen anyone try it on a 2500 so there's a chance if you do try it that you could be one of the few. Glad it's fixed Kelli25, just sucks you had to buy another fan. As yes you can run the efan with a clutch fan. E-Fan Problem
Any chance you still have the oem fan the truck came with? If so, swap it and see if it works. That way if it doesn't you'll know whether it's the fan or something else.- 2K10HemiRam

The only way I could see it possibly voiding the warranty is if the fan breaks and you overheat your engine to the point of causing serious damage. I'd taken my truck into the dealer a few times for work and they never said anything so, shouldn't have to worry about it.- 2K10HemiRam

E-Fan Problem
220 is the factory setting for when the fan comes on. If I remember correctly, on my 2010 with efan, tuner, and 180 tstat...I had my fan set to come on at 190 and go off at 180. Ran it that way for around 20k with no problems. If adjusting the settings on your tuner doesn't fix the problem...- 2K10HemiRam
