A buddy of mine had a similar problem with the individual window switches not working. He found out, the plug had come loose inside the driver door where it plugged into the drivers door switch panel. Plugged it in good, and problem was solved.
Very nice! My wife put the brakes on my plans before I could get the grill and fascia painted. This is a good thread starter for what the different trim levels could look like.
Baby supplies for the grandkids on the passenger's side. On the drivers side, I keep a roll of toilet paper (never know when the urge might hit) some bug spray and an extra ice scraper.
That works, but in MO, it's a very good way to get a ticket. And the judge in my county, counts every bulb in the light bar as an extra light. If you have a 50" dual row bar it's gonna be very expensive. The way I have mine set up with being able to use the high beams without the bar, I can turn...
I tapped my high beam on the drivers side, and ran it to the control side of a new relay. I then ran the switch leg for my light bar relay through the new relay controlled by the high beam. I have to activate the switch for the light bar, and have the high beams turned on for my light bat to...
Yesterday, I had the tires rotated and road force balanced. I was really surprised that the right front tire showed way out of balance. Took almost 9 oz of weight to get it to balance. The truck drove great with no vibrations. I drove it today, and couldn't tell a difference.
The ups guy...
First of all, I'm not a mechanic so take it for what it's worth. I doubt you will be able to find a reliable vehicle that you know everything about for $1800.
I don't have a pic, but look into Amp Power Steps. I really like the look of the Rams without steps, but they are there when you need them. They are pricey, but worth every penny in my opinion.
I'm on my first Ram after driving GM's for many years. I'm very happy with the truck compared to what I have had. A few tweaks would make it even better but for the overall base of the truck, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
I just replaced a VP with an MX4. It was a great upgrade. The MX4 finish, matches the plastic trim of the truck and looks great. I don't have any pictures yet but as soon as I get some I will post them up.
Get a soft tool bag that will hold it all. I think you will find that it will slip in and out of the underseat storage with no issues. This is where the Ram Boxes come in handy.
I like the way my amps look when they are folded up, because they disappear. I think they look like crap when down. Your steps have a different look. They aren't the worse for sure. If they look good to you that's all that matters. Can you get a pic of the mounting under the truck. I really like...
If you purchase a wiring harness, it will make the job very simple. I went through the firewall at the clutch delete plate. It's a plastic plate that is bolted onto the sheet metal. You can drill whatever size hole you need and use a grommet to finish it off.
Here is a link to a thread about...
I have the BAK VP on mine and really like it. Someone took one of the aluminum roll up covers and painted it body color. Not sure if it was on this forum, but it looked really neat.
Must be a Granite Rebel thing. My buddies truck (2016 Rebel, Granite Crystal Metallic) Had a lifter collapse causing a very bad tick. They replaced the lifter and all seems to be good.
