I checked mine before switching to Fumoto. The stock plug is not magnetic on 2015's. It's great being able to flip the valve with only crawling under the front (and change filter) rather than having to jack up some to get under the runners from the side.
I had the same issue, delayed advancing to next song and the song time counter not advancing till 30 seconds into the song. I noticed the "SHUFFLE" was highlighted and turned this off. The issue went away and has been a week so far. I use a iPhone 7plus with the lastest update (12.1)...
Dumped the can today. This one had a mix of driving and towing the utility trailer for about 300 miles. I estimate I'm safe till about 3000 miles before dumps are needed.

My Ram's oil level hasn't had noticeable drop in 4000 miles, I have 3000 miles left on this OCI. I check and drain CC around 1000 miles give or take. Each drain shows just under a ounce. Of course this truck doesn't have 11,000 miles yet.
Used the Ram to navigate the flood waters. Picking up odd and end supplies to finish re-decking my trailer.
A big shout out "Thank You" to 14hemiexpress for the heads up to cut a slot for putting boards in! It made the job simple!

I have had this for years and it is excellent! It covers anything I drive, and also covers anything I may be towing (ie. trailers, etc.). I have my son on it also, which him being 23 is a given plus. :happy107:
If you can find one, put your chain or strap thru a steel pipe at least 3 inch diameter and thicker walls (not exhaust pipe). When you put on the brakes, the towed vehicle will close the gap between you and it until the chain tightens against the pipe and you both can stop with your brakes. It...
I bought my truck simply because I wanted a truck, and this is Texas. :happy107: Seriously, I work from home as a machine tool applications engineer. I'm on a plane somewhere usually 2 weeks a month and the Ram gets me thru the steel rivers here (lately real rivers). I have a utility trailer...
I had the same problem. I ended up putting a jacket over it. I looked thru the settings and didn't find a setting for this. If I had the engine running I could adjust the dimmer to off. But as soon as I switched to ACC, it was back to full bright!
The trans-rad seems to be mounted high in front of the eng-rad. I've only peaked thru plastic cover gaps though. The lines come in from the passenger side.
Syn, my 8 speed with the HD TOC stays around 177 ~ 178 degrees from 55 ~ 80 MPH. I haven't towed anything with significant substance yet. Hope this helps.
Right or wrong, I've never just put the recommended amount of oil in any of my vehicles. I've always used the dipstick as the rule. With my ram, i put 6 quarts in, then start and let idle for about 5 minutes to confirm pressure is stable. Then I shut it down and let sit for about 15 minutes...
Looks good! Did you put the 3M "tape" on under them? It definitely helps keep the paint from scuffing as they do flex at highway speeds. Also, I used Teflon on the screw threads, I had one screw back out a 1/4 inch after only 300 miles. I just hit 10,000 miles and all is good. Just a FYI to...
Retrieved her from the airport lot Sunday, I always am thankful to see a the Ram logo after using rentals for a week or two. Anyways, updated the Uconnect software to MY15_RA3_16_16_13 Tuesday evening and all went smooth. I haven't driven it yet to see any differences. Maybe this weekend...
Did I just read on the 0900715 tsb that vehicles over 50000 miles could use 1 quart in 750 miles? [emoji851]. I think I need to get the eyes checked. This would be considered normal! Wow!

Uconnect has been updating mine around the 20th of each month and sending vehicle health reports also. I registered for the service, got the complimentary 6 months, and let it expire. It still updates though. I do log in to the ram owners center online when I service things myself and keep a...
Drove to dentist appointment. Filled the tank on the way back. While filling noticed a nail in the drivers rear tire. Went to discount tire and had it fixed. Made sure the attendant torqued to 130 and aired to 41. Back home by 11:30.

I run a tank with the Lucas cleaner and upper lube right after each oil change and that's it. I've done that for years. Last vehicle I had I bought at 53K and traded at 238K miles, still ran very strong. Probably more of a feel good, but why quit now.
:winner_third_h4h:
Emptied the can today,
Last dump @ 8850 miles,
This dump @ 9882 miles,
Pennzoil PP 5w-20, did not smell like gas or anything unusual, just oil. Mostly highway miles.

R.L.K - You have a red CC - I bet that thing causes you head rest to bend back when you peg the peddle! My CC is the billet aluminum flavor, I figured stock performance was enough for me!
:happy107:
Sorry, someone had to do it!
:naughty:
