Can't get his plug off!
Trying to change my fuel pump and I'm stuck. The tab is broken off and I have no idea how to proceed from here. I pulled the little red tab out but it won't move... Any suggestions?- kdryan

Emergency fuel cutoff switch?
So my '98 Ram 5.2 stopped running in the middle of the road on Christmas eve. It's getting spark, but not fuel. I sprayed some starter fluid into the intake and it started, so it's not getting fuel. I replaced the relay and the fuse looks okay, so I am thinking fuel pump. If it is, it's...- kdryan

So yeah... My '98 Ram 1500 Sport with a 5.2 which has run faithfully all year long decided to die on me on Christmas Eve of all times. It has been taking a bit longer to start than I like but I put that down to the cold here. Driving home, it suddenly started losing power, gained it back...- kdryan

I agree. Since I am not really removing the old rocker, but just putting the patch piece over it I think it should be okay... -

The 3M video on Youtube says not to use it on rocker panels but I think with some slip-on rockers it might be okay. I am curious as to why; body flexing maybe? It does solve my problem with not being able to weld them on. If it works it works. If not, I am not much worse off than was. I... -

Coolant sensor issue...
Ok, so here's a thing... Several months back while changing my thermostat I decided in a fit of insanity to be proactive and change the 18 yo coolant temp sensor. All done and nothing exploded so I didn't do too bad. No oil blowing anywhere at least and it sounds like it might even idle better. Like I always say; If no one comes back from the future to stop you, how bad of a mistake can it be? On to the next problem...- kdryan
