    FLAC is not supported. You are not going to benefit from lossless formats on the factory radio anyway. I use Mediamonkey to downconvert music from my library to 256K MP3 on an SD card. At the same time, I apply volume leveling.

    In a 2015, I would consider it a warranty issue. Push the dealer to cover some or all of the cost of a spray-in liner in lieu of a drop-in. If all he will give you is a new drop-in liner, tell him not to bother installing it and sell it as NEW.

    Yes, and its easy. This bothered me for a while until I found the fix. -While connected to uconnect, open MAPS. -Touch the little Speaker/BT symbol in the lower right corner. -Enable "Allow HFP Prompts". If you are using google maps, the setting is called "Play as Bluetooth phone call"

    Since the HU is the same in both alpine and non-alpine systems, I suspect there is some way to make it work. As I understand it, the BCM tells the HU and AMP how to behave. If you could convince the BCM that you DON'T have the alpine system, it should tell the HU to output variable speaker...
