I looked but the pads were good condition, took every wheel off and inspected because I was also doing a tire rotation at that time. I've only owned the truck for a year or two maybe. Doesn't mean they weren't serviced at a dealer prior.
I have a 2014 2500 with factory brakes and shoes with plenty of life left on them.
I've noticed lately that when I apply brakes, there is a brief second or two squeal then it stops and I don't hear it again for the entire braking process. It happened while I was towing our 22' boat and may be...
At one point, I wired the horn to a toggle switch. If the switch is on, the horn works in tandem with the stock horn... If the switch is off, just the stock horn honks. At one point, I had a whole separate button for the horn but the problem with both of these is you need to fidget around a bit...
So i have a 14 2500, about 140 k miles on it and I used to have a light bar mounted to the front bumper but it recently fell off. I also have cab clearance lights so I can't put it on top... And I have a front winch point with tow hooks so can't put it there either. Curious what other people...
I have the solenoid grounded and the other wire going to the factory horn wire under the driver side tire splash guard. I found it to be too much work when having a separate switch.

Follow up on this. Got the issue resolved by replacing the solenoid :)

Do you mean for me to check if I get air coming out of the solenoid? That's the one place I haven't checked yet. I know I have air going INTO the solenoid, I just disconnected, checked and reconnected all cables from the air tank to the solenoid in.

In Dallas, it's in the 60s outside. I'm guessing by your response and based on the above information that there may be some sort of blockage between the tank and the horns?
Second question, is it possible that water(from past ice/condensation since the prior few weeks it was in the 30/40s) got...
So my air powered, triggered from the steering wheel horn, train horns stopped working and I'm not sure why.
The air tank has air in it, and solenoid for the horns is clicking when I press the horn button but no air horns. I opened the air tank purge valve to make sure there was air and some...
That's fair, I just have issues pulling into parking spots forward lol. I back into spots 90% of the time, but that 10% that has slanted spots are harder to back into and I end up opening my door and standing up to look at the bumper off the car in front of me

That looks good also. Question for anyone out there that has a custom front bumper.... have you retained your front parking sensors? why or why not? Most bumpers I see don't have the slots for them normally. Now I guess I could just drill and install them, but are they needed?
I do see there is SOME sort of airflow on the bottom of the bumper, not sure how much it would be compared to the current stock one.

That's a good looking front end. I never thought to make the grill black but it looks good. I never thought about the airflow for the intercooler through the bumper as being a necessary factor

It's a diesel. I unnderstand the bumper will be a bit longer, etc.... I like the look of the bumper just want to know that it's not a company known for using cheap materials/parts etc

That's actually what I have right now with the winch on a hitch plate for the front or back but the main focus isn't so much the winch, but this whole effort is driven by a new bumper. I just know that if I had to mount my winch anywhere, I'd rather use it on the front than back since I'll have...
