This actually is a common problem. AMP Research makes a reinforcement bracket that is money for fixing this problem. Have to pound it back flat and grind it smooth, then weld these brackets on. After that, I had no issues. Did it to both of my running boards at all attachment points before I... -

Had 37x12.5x20 Nitto Terra Grappler G2s on my ‘11 2wd. Same lift. No rubbing after they folded the front of the fender liner in during some off-road dumbassery. You’ll want the spacer in the rear. Mine rubbed very, very lightly from time to time on the fender liner back there. Those 37s... -

Leveling out a 2wd Ram

Don't hate on the 2wd. Factory rims on a MaxTrac 7" front, 4.5" rear suspension lift. Nitto 37x12.5x20 Terra Grappler G2. No rubbing. Need a 1.5" wheel spacer in the rear to match the flare in the front from the new knuckles. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
2016 1500 squeak developed in front left
I had that exact thing happen with my MaxTrac lift/level. Discovered a small tear in the boot that I think probably happened while I was "testing" my new tires and lift off-road. [emoji12] Squeak was first, now a knocking. Out of warranty, so gonna hafta save up for the joint replacement... -

2015 2x4 Level
My stocks were 33" actual, these 37x12.5s on the stock 20x9 wheels actually measure 35.5. Just saying that I highly recommend MaxTrac as the option for us 2x4 guys. And they are Nitto AT Terra Grapplers. If you were to go with an MT, definitely would rub. No rubbing with the ATs, though. -
2015 2x4 Level
I used MaxTrac for my lift/level and put 37s on with no issues. Love their suspension lift. Went with the full 7" kit with Bils, which only lifts it by 4.5" after the level. Had to add a 1.5" coil spacer in the rear to keep it level. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

That sounds more like the MDS kicking in, not a transmission shift point. Tow/haul gets rid of it, or putting the tranny in manual shift mode, or obviously tuning the MDS out with a tuner. If I'm understanding you correctly, are you saying the VIN sheet says you should have rear defrost? If that's the case, maybe somebody broke the rear window (or had the notorious cabin water leak) and replaced it with a cheaper one (without defrost). 37" Tire Spedo Recalibrate
I went with a tuner and 4.56 gears on my '11 and am back to original mileage with speedo to within 1mph of GPS speed. I think, however, you'll need an unlocked engine controller to install the tune on a '14+. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong. 2011 Ram 1500 Laramie CC 4x2 (SWB)- jdwildman
