Alignment required with new UCA install?
When I started it had 15k miles and no signs of needing an alignment, and when I drove it to the shop pre-install i could tell it was off. BUT!!!! When I posted, I failed to consider I also did bils @2.8 so that is probably what really changed it. I had a brain fart when I posted I guess... -

How are the Mevotech UCA's holding up?
Man, I bet that was a "pants filling moment" when you hit that thing!! That had to knock.your fillings (and ball joints) loose!! I agree, you can't fault the mevotechs for failing on that one. Mine have held up perfectly for 10k, though my truck lives an admittedly easier life. A little... -

Man, that orange/black combo is very striking. I'm not one for really flashy paint (I bought a white one for Pete's sake), but that color combo is killer in my opinion. Sharp truck, enjoy it! And if you don't throw some big heavy wheel and tire combo on it, the hemi/8 speed definitely won't feel...- sriley531

Another former gm guy here as well. Didn't have any particular reason to jump ship, my last Silverado was stellar (and my dad now drives it and loves it) although I will say the square wheel wells really turn me off.
