    Easy buy the diesel & drive a beater to work. You can't have it all . This is what I do and although I've only owned a Cummings for 2 mo & 6000 mi . I don't like to run a $60,000 truck a very short distance . You will love towing with a diesel & you'll be so relaxed doing it Best of luck

    I believe there are 2 different Firestone here ? AT& HW Only got 6000 on mine hiway type no problems in rain . I really got no complaints as of yet. They seem to run smooth & quiet I value those qualities. Don't plan on off roading or snow driving .

    My observation is you not gonna like towing full time with your current truck. I base this on 2 things , you came from a 3/4 diesel . 1500 's don't pull travel trailers well . You do have a small tt listed so it maybe tolerable , but most likely not enjoyable .
