Did the rear diff so far. Took about 3.5 quarts to fill line. I used an Allen key with its 90 degree angle as a dip stick. Hardest part was getting around those brake lines attached to the plate. That was a dumb design.
I actually posted that exact video elsewhere after someone recommended a flat plate aftermarket cover. Banks did the science and discovered flat doesn't work. I would love to go for one of those Banks but I'm on a budget.

I personally love my 4.10 but to each their own. If you don’t need so much truck and the diesel is more nuisance than it’s worth then you’ll definitely be happy with a 6.4. Funny you say you can’t find one without 4.20 because when looking for mine I felt like I got lucky finding one with 4.10...
