I have spent the last few cutting and fitting panels as well as patching smaller holes with sheet metal. It seems to be coming along good. The after market panels take a little bit to get them to fit properly but I am very impressed with them so far. Hopefully by next week I'll have everything...
A small update today but a pretty big one. All my parts finally came in from LMCtruck. I gotta say I'm not too impressed with them. A lot of them were pretty beat up from improper packing and shipping but other than that they're pretty awesome.

It's been a very busy couple of days. With my leg healing and my dad home from work we were able to crank out some serious progress. We got the bed off and the rear bumper. I cut the rust out if he rear quarter panel and drilled out the spot welds and removed the driver side rocker panel. I cut...
Yesterday was a little rough. I was in an ATV accident and took a few stitches in my leg. Not really a big deal but it made work a little slow today. After school I was able to drill out all the spot welds that hold the inner fenders to the actual fenders. It was a very tedious job but after two...
Hi guys. I'm making this thread to show you what I'm doing to my truck. My truck is a 2001 1500 sport with the 4x4 off-road package. The trucks been on my family for 7 years and I recently bought it off of my dad. After driving the truck for about a year I decided that it was time for me to do...
My truck was already lifted from the factory. All I did was basically extend my springs by 2.5 inches. It barley if not at all changed anything else about the suspension
I have towed it with a 1500 Tahoe and it toes it perfectly fine. The trailer is rated at 6000 empty and it has 4 sleds in it plus gear puts it at about 7500
The truck is rated for about 7500 the trailer weights between 7500-8000 I'm not really towing that much over the rated weight. I'm towing at the limit. I just want to make it so my truck will be able to do it without struggling
I have electric trailer brakes so I don't really have that issue and its towed currently by a 1500 Tahoe so I feel confident my truck can do it with some minor changes. I'm also de badged so there is no way to know its a 1500 from the outside
I was wondering if there was any way to boost the towing capacity on my truck. It's an 01 ram 1500 sport. 5.2 with the 4x4 off-road package. I have a 40 ft snowmobile trailer that I would like to be able to tow that weighs around 8000. Anything I can do such as new rear springs or suspension...
