I have a 2006 5.7 with almost 200,000mi. She is tired. I just just watched a Engine Masters show where they compare the 06 to the 09. Quite a bit of difference. Steering has play above the intermediate shaft in tilt?
06 2500 4x4 I have replaced the entire steering from hubs to intermediate steering shaft and EVERYTHING in between, even updated the steering and box and yes track bar also. The play which is about an inch and a half either side of center on steering wheel. Who rebuilds these columns. I have...- Buzz

Transmission Temp sending
Hi All. Installing trans temp gauge. Where is best install of sending unit? I would imagine in trans it self or in line. The pan temp would be slow to respond compared to in trans housing (test port maybe) or in line to cooler, no? With that being said where what test port is on 06, 5.7, 545RFE...- Buzz
