    97 1500 ram rear differential broke :(

My recent experience (and on going) with getting my differentials changed is pretty simple. Either you buy the quality parts you want with non-inflated prices and install them yourself or you have a shop slap their low quality parts in at inflated quality prices... my 02

    99 Ram 1500 4x4, differential mismatched?

**UPDATE** Well unexpected delays had their way with my differential change times and dates. So after many months I now have all my yukon parts and was completely prepared to install them. Long story short... after moving several times and a few other changes at home prevented me from doing...

    Clicking Sound Around Turns?

My U-joints did the same thing when they were going out, so definitely get them replaced with some Spicers. You can upgrade the tranny before replacing the CV or Ujoint. But I would make this more of a critical need to fix problem. Unless you want your truck to become a three wheeler...

    Tire suggestions

I 2nd the Kelly's! had them on another truck and they were nice. What do you plan to do with your tires? Street/mudding/snow? a mix perhaps? In my opinion if your want a good all around AT tire, get the General AT2, 50K warranty when I bought mine. Ten thousand miles later they still look...

    95 ram 1500 with the 5.9

I had car with similar tranny problems when I first bought it. Turns out the previous owner never changed out the tranny fluid. There was enough to help the gears but not enough to be constant. (I sold the car a year after words though) Now on the other hand I have an explorer that leaks...

Steering, Little problem turning into big problem

yes and nothing seems strange or moved EDIT: I've moved/inspected all the steering bars with my hand (no one else to help at the moment), and I probably have a few bad bushings most likely.

Steering, Little problem turning into big problem

After abit of google, I ended up watching a few death wobble videos. How does this relate to the topic? Well when I'm driving around 45 mph or creeping at 8 mph, I can feel my truck shaking abit. Think this is proof of a bad steering gear box? I do have a steering stabilizer frame brace...

Steering, Little problem turning into big problem

long and poorly wrote, but heres the story Well this all started on July 4th when I went to a buddies house for celebrations. I was dead tired and pulled into his drive way then cranked the steering wheel to the right. Now mind that the tires didnt turn right but I left the wheel that way. So...

    can't make up my mind

If I had the the option I would take the 2500 with a diesel. Fuel may cost more but youll get double the engine life over a gas engine. Atleast thats what I've always been told. (stronger parts will last longer though, only downside is the extra cost in the required hardened tires)

As long as your Battery and Alternator can take the extra juice drain when their all on. I see no problem with your wiring diagram :pedobear:

    Stupid Headlights.

Hmm, I'm surprised it worked so well lol I've never had much luck with those
  23. Nikolai553

Well, time to change it up.

I would personally hold off, thats just going to be a money pit with those miles in my opinion. If your buying used shoot for the 120-130k range. :console: But if you really like the truck then I say go for it. ( I cant stand to have a truck that isnt a 4x4, I may as well get a car )

    New Control Arms!!

Thanks for the pics cummins, I "attempted" to replace the control arm bushings last weekend and had to grind the sob's off. After three hours of work for the lower right control arm I called it a day. So I was thinking the cam bolts would be $20 each at most when I grinded the one off and...

did somebody say rockstar, or rockstars?

Those rims really bring out your truck! and in my opinion I sugest 33's would be best if they fit correctly in the wells.
