    Probably to do with emissions. During warm up, the engine produces the most emissions. The faster they can get it to warm up, the less emissions output it will produce.

    Could it possibly be the smell of unburnt fuel? With no cats or high flow cats, you can sometimes get a slight fuel smell.

    I'd say the the Stainless Works system with their x pipe and S tube mufflers would be a great choice. Hope you really want it loud though. Or go with the ARH headers with muffler of choice, something like a Carven R.

    I'm a bigger guy and have no trouble just going under with no ramps, stock height. If it is lowered, you may have trouble though.

    Awesome, thanks. Looks like I'll keep it on my short list for oil shopping. No problems running straight 0w40 in the 5.7? MDS is disabled via tune. Also running a larger, Wix 51060XP oil filter rated for 9-11 gpm.

    Most people do a 180 t stat and custom tune as well, but its not required. The factory e fan is already programmed to come on with the A/C and when running warm. If you do a thermostat and tune, the tuner can program it to come on earlier.

    I believe 2014 and up don't need to buy another fan as the stock electric fan is enough. You would just remove factory fan clutch.

    I've noticed slight changes in some mufflers, but not anything dramatic. I notice more of a change in the tone than so in volume.
