I have recently purchased one for my 6-speaker setup. The instructions that came with it were very vague.
I know of one guy here who has it installed in his OEM Alpine setup.
This is a great option for adding a DSP w/ EQ and keeping the OEM unit (I have the 8.4). I watch alot of these guys...
So I decided to use an old iPhone 5S as an Ipod in my truck. Was listening to it and everything was working great.

Just wanted to give my list and plans for this build. It is nothing over the top or crazy loud, but will do the job just fine.

So I have noticed this issue lately, seems I get in the truck and the phone connects as it should. I decide to play some music through BT and it drops the phone connection. I then have to hit the setup button and click on my phone name, then it will reconnect the phone and the music will start...
I bought new dash speakers to upgrade the OEM ones and it came with the mastersheet on replacing the radio and speakers including the Alpine system.

I have a 2016 Ram 1500 quad cab Lone Star with the 8.4A HU and standard 6 speaker sound system.
I want to add my Audio Control LCQ-1 LOC and NVX 900.5 amp.
Plans are to replace stock speakers, add EQ LOC and amp. Maybe a sub later. Nothing crazy, been there don't that, lost the trophies...
