Truck pulls between 4-6 k pounds everyday during the spring through fall seasons. Winter it doesn’t pull anything but hockey bags in the bed. 3 different trailers I’m pulling with it.

Looking at taking the transmission and transfer case from a 99 1500 5.9 magnum and putting it in a 98 2500 also with the 5.9

I️ will tell you from personal experience. My brother has a 17 ram with the v6. He pulls a lot with it. Motor just fine pulling about 5k. Now as for a daily I️ would say its a matter of do you want a big grocery getter that can pull if needed? Definitely V6. If you want to always have a “truck”...

Don’t waste money on a cold air intake. If you do some research on what a CAI is ram already has one from the factor. These aftermarkets are just for looks. Realized that before I bought one thankfully
