Lol my wife really is a ball breaker. She was mad at me for not buying a diesel when i bought my 1500. Yes we have a lot of family in NY. We also have some in Dallas. If we where to move to Dallas, i would receive roughly a 30k a year raise thru my day job. (I do moonlighting on the side on the...
I am in South Texas. I won't be moving till mide 17. I will have some time to figure out what i am gonna do. Got a lot of good options and opinions so far. I feel like my wife just wants a diesel truck to drive around when im not. Lol.
Im gonna have to get in touch with D.o.T and dps to see if i can. Im sure i could hire movers to help me load it onto the trailer. It would be easier since the semi is paid for.... diesel fuel.is cheaper than another 60k
We where checking out the Fort worth area for houses, anyone have any areas to avoid? I actually have my own truck. But I dont have the permits required to be listed as a moving company for furniture. Its a bit of a grey area since it would be my own stuff. I would think i would have to up the...
Honestly didnt think about the whole u haul thing. I will have to look into that. I would just have to leave my truck at the airport and pay for the parking i guess.
The truck has the 3.92 gears. I want to say the truck maxed out is rated for 10.5k i dont remember without checking the door. I would actually haul my own stuff but being a truck driver i wouldnt be sure when i would be home.
For the record i want to move to Dallas, its a beautiful city. She...
I hate NY and Snow. If i moved up in the salt belt I'd have to put a snow plow on my truck. I did that to my powerstroke i had and all the plowing destroyed the truck.
Wish she would of informed me of her plan. A little frustrating. Im trying not to complain, but i really didn't need a diesel because i only have my small motorcycle trailer nd harley that goes in it to tote around.
Well,
My wife has told me that at the end of 2017 she either wants to move to Dallas or up in the salt belt. The pickle i am in is that i dont want to pay almost 5k for movers to move all of my stuff to just Dallas.
If i moved to NY I wouldn't be abke to afford movers, the price is insane...
Yes, in Texas (I am assuming that is where the op is from) You do not need insurance is some counties. It depends where you live really. If you see someone driving around with a paper plate, they dont have insurance unless it is a brand new vehicle. Texas mails your plates to the dealer then...
Fred loyal is a cheap shit insurance company here in texas. Where im at there is a branch in corpus. They are a very very crap company to have from what i understand
Well here goes my race story, when I lived in new York there was a bridge that connected the two towns next to each other with a stop light at either end. But, only the right lane the one i was in was the lane to keep going straight at the other side of the bridge.
So here I am 19, in my 2004...
I bought my lonestar 4x4 5 months ago, sticker of 48k got the truck for 36k out the door after taxes and everything else. New would honestly be a much better option, because dealers tend to hold firm on used inventory cause people are hanging onto their vehicles forever cause they are so...
I dont like that it is only 10k miles. Ive never leased a vehicle before, but have been at least been offered 15k miles a year. That is at least been over the national average of 12k a year.
Ive always just engaged the parking brake before i even get out of my truck. I make sure its in park first and sit in the truck just to be sure it does not go anywhere. My wife hates that i do that cause she cant figure out where the lever is. Seems to be a good deterrent to keep her from...
It might be a fuel pump, but when a fuel pump goes it just goes. I dont think it wouldnt work a few times then suddenly work again. In my experience that when they fail they fail completely. Have you changed your fuel filter lately? It could be plugged up. Is it really cold outside where you...
Well here's the kicker, on my way home from work the engine light went off and the traction control light went out. Im assuming somthing fixed itself? Any idea on what i should do? Im leaning towards just to drive it to see if it acts up again.
Well, truck is already going back to the dealer again. This morning in my way to work the check engine light and the service electronic braking system light came on and a light also came on saying the traction control was disabled?
Any thoughts?
Thats what my thought was, because it sounds like it is comming from the top corner of the driver door. Ive been thinking about trying to spray in a little bit of foam around the seal to see if it quites it down at all.
