    Spring assembly It's not the seat bottom., it is the spring base. Pictures attached. Previous owner used rope as temp fix.

    Ok so wires that hold up drivers side of the bench seat in my 98 Quad cab almost look cut underneath? So taking bench out, re doing wiring. Can a swap seat bottom from drivers side with pass side while I have it out?

    Thank you Thank you. Don't care what it looks like. Guessing POR15 and rattle canning is not as permanent as cutting out welding in patch then rattle canning.

    Thanks, dapepper9 I am not great at welding, but do have a Mig welder at my father in laws. It is a work truck, does not need to be pretty. Just needs to hold up and slow down the cancer.

    Pan with drain plug Any advice for a inexpensive tranny pan with a drain plug. I also don't want to have to drop the pan everytime I want to drain and refill ATF in my 1998 1500 4X4.

    Ok, I want to know the tallest tires that will fit on my 1500 QC 4X4 stock 16" steelies. Ram has 265/75R16 now little wide for all the deep snow up here. Also stock tires do notfill wheel wells at all.
