Just wanted to update with the fix for this in case it comes up in a search. The problem was the ignition module. The replacement part that fixed it was part # 68271986AC. It allegedly fits all 2013 to 2018 trucks WITHOUT the push button start. The part was $191 Canadian. It did NOT require...
Truck is a '13 QC with Hemi. Battery is brand new and healthy. Truck won't start or even turn over with either of my key fobs. No clicks, fuel pump doesn't seem to prime, nothing. Fobs have new batteries installed. Interior and exterior lights work but that's it. No radio or HVAC with key in run...
I'm happy with the Borla muffler on my truck.
I also liked the canned 91 tune my old Superchips tuner came with more than the canned 91 tune my current Diablo tuner has. The truck just felt quicker and snappier.
The Superchips tuner itself was dollar store quality and the support was even...
I've had both Superchips and Diablo programmers for my '13. I sold the Superchips to buy a Diablo for a custom tune.
The SC canned tune felt noticibly stronger than the Diablo. Drivability was better too. You can also get them pretty cheap.
Some of the responses in this one lol
So, the valve cover seal on these engines has one normal gasket for the perimeter of the valve cover and 4 seperate seals for the spark plug tubes. It's 5 opportunities for a leak per side.
Now for the fun part....when the tube seals leak you won't...
All I did was remove the TBV and run lines to the aux cooler I installed. It runs in series with the OEM cooler in the radiator. It's nothing high-tech :)
Great info. It's cool that a delete kit is available now. It looks like that would work on a 1500 with the 65RFE as well. I bypassed the TCV on my '13 1500 with 65rfe a while ago and temps never go over 120* unless I'm towing. And even then they never go over 150*. I did install an aux trans...
This is true but temperatures equalize once you're moving.....to a certain degree. At idle and cruising around town the "short rams" heat soak like a mother. But once you get above above approx 30mph the temps equalize and on the highway they can have lower IATs than the OEM airbox.
At least...
The ceramic coating process used on headers is different than the typical powder coating. The industrial grade process used by companies like Jet-Hot and Swain is pretty gnarly.
They're literally contractually obligated to use Pennzoil products right now lol.
Nothing would surprise me though.....I asked for some of the 0W40 PUP about a month ago and the parts guy looked at me like I was speaking Klingon. The best part is he owns a '16 scat pack charger.....
